Apart from the above  list  Mukesh, Avesh, Kamboj, Khlaleel, Vyshak, Deshpande, Nitish Reddy, a couple of  other trundlers who played in recent A team Asia Cup are your options.

 

 Umran Malik, Mayank Yadav are not realistic options so don’t make this a wish list. 
 

Shami is done.

 

Thakur-Chahar if they have good IPL may leapfrog a few players as Gambhir loves such players.

 

That’s about it. based on that Prasidh walks in to your bench team.

 

Akashdeep is definitely a starter in tests abroad. I have no idea about his odi and t20 skill set as we haven't tested him yet

This selection committee played Siraj, Prasidh, Akashdeep, in A games and should have given more opportunity to Yash Thakur,Aukib,Sen.

KL Rahul tells Prasidh Krishna to not 'use his brain, do as told' in Raipur

 

 

 

 

In an incident that was caught on the stump mic, Rahul is heard yelling at Prasidh to not use his head and do as he is told to. Krishna was bowling to Tony de Zorzi when the exchange between the two took place. Rahul, who is never that animated on the field, blasted Krishna for deviating from the plans disucssed and bowling to the batter’s head despite the captain telling him not to do so.

 

“Prasidh, nin tale odsbeda. Helid haaku. Helidini en haakbeku anta, adanna haaku (Prasidh, don’t use your brain. Do as you are told. I have told you what to bowl, do that,” Rahul is heard telling Krishna.

 

Krishna asks Rahul, “Taalege haakla (Should I bowl to his head?)” to which the captain responds, “Taalegela beda eega. Prasidh heli bandidini. Taalege haaktidiyalla (No need of bowling at his head. Prasidh, I just told you not do so and you are doing the same.”

My first thought was that KLR is a clueless gaali-giver. Kannada is the absolute best language for gaalis, and that's all he could come up with? It's like he's cajoling a 2-yr old.
