I think each of the SENA teams will feature 3-4 Indian origin players in less than 10 years time. And not just random fillers, but potential superstars, captaincy material like Amla, Rachin, Maharaj.

In last two decades, there has been a clear pattern in Indian cricket (across all formats).  If we start winning the ICC whiteball tournaments, our test performance takes a nosedive (both at home & abroad), And Vice-Versa.  It happened during the Dhoni era.  It's happening now as well.

Play one SENA side at home, one away, each year, full tour. Fill the rest with Lanka, WI, Afg. Few against Zim, Ire etc. to groom rookies. We can have a perfect calendar without needing Pak/BD or the stupid Asia Cup.

Happened to Eng as well. Great white ball run in 2016-22 but never cracked top 4 in tests. 

 

Aus is the only side that does both.

Didn't lose home series between the period except right at the fag end to NZ 0-1 (outside of WTC)

Won in SA twice, SL twice and had a reasonable outings in NZ.

 

India is in complete disarray otoh in Test cricket.

But this is largely self-inflicted. Both team selection and pitch preparation.  When pitch preparation taken away from our hands like in Englan we did well.  Also loading the side with bits and pieces players, IPL players instead of proper first class performers. Dhoni lost with the best team that he could have at that time. But this is definitely not the best team one can field.

its much worse, we in an unprecedented crisis when it comes to Red ball cricket.when even countries like SA and Kiwis can play spin better than you and have better spinners than you then  are in deep crisis and the sad part is nobody cares to fix it,they are worried only about IPL and T20 cricket.

When we had Murali Vijay, Mayank Agarwal, inform Pujara we didn't have problem against spin.

NZ definitely cause Indians are like 5% and increasing.

 

Even Aus similar (slightly lower percentage).

 

Eng-SA maybe not so much as Indian immigration has stopped there although they will still have a few here and there.

When he release he almost tip toes for pivot his back leg looks like this. He has this kick in the air when he releases. These are common for many bowlers. Kuggeline or someone from NZ used to bowl like this. But i don't know if landing like this can be a problem

Suryavansi, Mhatre both gone in same over. Both doesn't have temprament for 50 over cricket. More of T20 batters.

Seems like Deepesh Devendran is injured. Weakest option Uddhav Mohan playing means Kishan Singh is also not fit to play. Can be the only explanation of Uddhav playing ahead of the two.
