Stokes was so clutch in the final, Pooks were closer to winning that title than most people would like to admit. Meri toh phati padi thi when Buttler fell, and there was a spell by Naseem Shah where every ball looked like a wicket taking one. That MCG deck was very spicy, that's what made Kohli's knock against Pak so iconic. 

 

Stokes is underrated in white ball and overrated in red ball.

Stokes as white ball is everything a team needs. Even in tests he hardly looks troubled, gives his 100% but doesn't seem to have ability.

That was only 1 knock though. Sam Curran was clutch throughout and was player of the tournament iirc
