India at best can pull up a great rearguard against the US, but will get phainty-fied royally in the end. No doubt, India is no match to US militarily in present form. Even China wont be able to last long against US. At max a month, coz China can mass produce, but its arms and Air Defecnce are of inferior quality to US. The American bombers & Naval power will beat the sh!t out of Chinese airforce and Navy once they destroy the manufacturing hubs. Russia can, it may sound a joke but US is fearful of Russia courtesy of its "N" sword. Russia do have lesser jets and a significantly smaller Navy which can be pinned to the ports. But their "N" arsenal and their bombers (white swan series) can cause serious irreparable damage to US.

We were supposed to rule the world with the resources we had but ended up getting enslaved for better part of history. We have a very flawed understanding of Buddhists. Mind you, all the current knowledge of Buddhists that we have is courtesy of German/British indologists who worked painstakingly hard in translating our scripts. Japanese shogun warriors were Buddhists, Kublai Khan was a devout Buddhist (and a badass warrior-king). So Buddhism was not always about moksha all the time, they used to prioritize practicality too with innovation, science and culture. Treason is not a cope, it's our genetic reality and a curse since last millenia. There is no point in being mad at Bin Qasim, Ghori, Ghazni when our own maharathis supported them. Indian kings from medieval era fought over pretty women and land all the time. raki05 and mishra 1 1
zen Posted January 4 Posted January 4 While our Hindu focused govt remains quiet at the slaughter of Hindus in BD! When making speeches, there are no constraints. When required to take action, tons of constraints (read as excuses) surface.
G_B_ Posted January 4 Posted January 4 If the usa can get venezuela to pump 5 million per day up from 1.1 million i think india will massively benefit This seems to be bad for russia+ opec. Question is will trump allow brent crude to fall hurting shale producers. Or will be use this new oil to maintain prices within a band. Likes of Exxon must be very happy.

Ghazni simply came with a faster horse based cavalry and his shoot and scoot based plundering tactics were massive success. His repeated efforts to gain foothold in Kashmir failed spectacularly and Islamic hordes had no response to fight on that terrain & failed for centuries. But on the plains he was unstoppable. Ghurid was just a better tactician.. came with a smaller force and struck at an opportune time. Prithviraj took 11 months lifting a simple seige out of Bathinda, talk about being so technologically backward that he didn't have decent enough siege engines. It was a disaster of a campaign. Has bard can cook as many stories as he can like but dude was just wasn't it. Tbh Kublai got converted into Tibetan Buddhism by his Chinese Wife.. Do read what Chinese historians have written about Mongol hordes and how easily they demolished so called Buddhist, and Daoist military. It wasn't even a contest.

Ghori was defeated twice...once by Prithviraj and then by Rani Nayki Devi. Neither of them murdered him and let him off the ramp easily. Same went with Ghaznavi, King Sangramraja of Kashmir defeated him, so did the Kalchuri kings of Central India (that's why he can't cross beyond the plains of Punjab). But none of them wiped him off the face of earth. And he kept on coming back. Mongols under Changez Kahn was the last non-monotheistic ruler who had the sense of shatrubodh. Once his soldiers converted to islam, it was game set match. raki05, coffee_rules and Laaloo 2 1

I thought Kublai Khan's wife was a Slavic queen since she followed eastern orthodox Christianity. Yes, he got converted to Buddhism later but still engaged in military campaigns and is respected by Chinese Buddhists. Kanishka the emperor was another great Buddhist warrior king that comes to mind. Bin Qasim ka case is a clear treason, even though it came through Buddhists. raki05 1

Had likes of uran penetrated iron dome then we would have our answer. Chinese Nukes can, they do have long range ICBM's, but don't think China will go Nuclear that easy. It will continue to keep it under the conventional umbrella, as going Nuclear will be devastating for them and send them to a point of no-return. All the major megacities of China are at the Eastern shore which makes it easier for US. US Navy and Airforce is still too powerful for China, don't think China even have a full fledged bomber squad (H-6k's are still low in numbers). Not to mention US has a greater number of aerial fuelling tankers and several bases across the Pacific to fuel itself, Chinese jets are limited in that sense.

Ghurid left a small garrison there in the fort and fled with most of his remaining troops. It took 11 months to lift that Seige giving ample opportunity for Ghori to come back with additional Turkish horse archery regiment..and rest is history.

They need no flames to cook, no smoke rising from a thousand tents. They eat their provisions cold and ride before dawn." The Jurched defenders, conscripted from farming villages, require constant resupply. Rice, millet, vegetables, cooking pots, firewood. An army of 100,000 men needs a logistics train stretching miles behind them. They must stop to cook. They must rest. They must eat three times daily. The Mongols just ride.

It's been more than a decade that our Surya ICBM program has been deliberately stopped in fear of West. Capability wise it barely takes 3-4 months for DRDO to do it. We have powerful enough rockets for almost a decade now. Just Political will is missing We have to take Langley, London within our ICBM range.

This country was built on years of investment in innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and meritrocracy. It's because of such strong foundation, the US can do what it wants to. Think of all innovation in the field of aerospace engineering, computer science, medicine, you name it! So many scientists from Nazi Germany moved to America with the remaining going to the Soviet Union. Henry Ford, bringing 9-5 work hours with 5 day workweek, bringing work life balance concept to the world. India lost the plot due to centuries of treasons which led to invasions and colonisation. Repeated treasons created a low trust society and weakened the unity where everyone is busy looking out for themselves. Let me add one more factor into the mix. In antiquity, the wealth of a society was often dependant on the fertility of it's soil. India had plenty of it. People never really had to struggle a lot for basic life. I believe this introduced the sense of relaxation and lethargy into the hindoo mindset. We lost the drive to explore new stuff or conquer new lands. The ability and strategy to wage wars has also declined. Also, this wealth attracted numerous foreigners, increased diversity and lowered trust across generations. By the time muslims invaded, we were already a stagnant society.

With MIRV technology already acquired.. ICBM could target any place on the planet. But reasons are well known why GoI wouldn't do that. Edited January 4 by Lone Wolf
