Nikhil_cric Posted January 15 Posted January 15 2 hours ago, Gollum said: In 2026, other trophy contenders have Markram, Phillips, Head, Root types to send in a few overs of off spin if needed. And they are almost as effective as Washi. Now when you take into account the gulf in batting/fielding, makes Washi the most useless ODI cricketer going around. They have to blood Parag in. He is the only guy who can give us the necessary balance at #6 Lord, Manucrick and Gollum 1 2
cowboysfan Posted January 15 Posted January 15 If Selectors are not taking these ODIs seriously then nobody should waste 9 hours watching it,bringing Jaddu back is a Capital offense and bat years needs to be sacked.
Chaos Posted January 18 Posted January 18 When ICF uncles have more brain cells than team management, its a HUGE PROBLEM for a cricketing nation

Suhaan Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 (edited) A core of Rohit Kohli Kela Jadeja is ticking time bomb ,it will explode just before CWC and decimate all the already fragile preparation we have made Edited January 19 by Suhaan deepdynamo and daryl1985 1 1
deepdynamo Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Rohit, Jadeja & KL are being selfish here. Rohit will be 40 year old with suspect fitness in 2027. Jadeja is not good enough in ODI, now and definetly not in 2027. KL is a mental midget ( proven many time). No one can trust him. We need fresh batsman in ODI setup. Jasiwal, Tilak, Kishan or Pant or maybe Gaikwad too. Manucrick 1
MK55 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I’m 100 percent sure that was the last of Mr Jadeja in LOI cricket. There will be some tiny fallout after yesterday and he will be discarded. But the problem is we have more issues. “Fast” bowling and spinners r both horrible skill wise. We need to draft new players ASAP. The fact that the World Cup is not that far away should increase the urgency to make these decisions - not the opposite. Agarkar has been absolutely hopeless n pathetic. Has got no brains and is a sycophant. tapandrun 1
MK55 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 KL at least won the first match with his batting. Kohli has been the best by a 100 miles this series. First line problems are Rohit (his 15/25 run cameos at the top are f useless), Jadeja, Nitish, Siraj. And sadly our problems don’t end there but this should be the start. tapandrun 1
MK55 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I’m all for giving newer players more game time n patience after being drafted in. But u gotta show some spark. Most of the relatively younger players in the side are just lacking talent n skill wise. These should also be next in line to be discarded after the ones I mentioned above

Iyer, KL & Pandya are sort of finishers while the top 4 build the game. Jaiswal ( should roll his arm from time to time) Gill Kohli Tilak ( can bowl & should bowl more frequently) Iyer KL (only as finisher at No.6) Pandya ( only genuine allrounder) Rana MK55 1

And opener needs to be replaced ASAP. Im fine with Kohli n KL. They did contribute at some points this series meaningfully. Pandya himself doesn’t want to play ODIs I guess? I have no sympathy then - should find another all rounder.

Pandya never said that...he was rested keeping T20 WC in mind. He is a lock in for ODI WC 2027. He don't want to play Test cricket, though. MK55 1
