BD are hosts of 2027 Asia Cup, 2031 ODI WC (co-hosting with India).

Also a bilateral series for our boys there later in the year as per FTP.

Sabko cancel karo. Finish Ban cricket for once and for all.

Forget cancel. Don't pick up any phone from BD, don't respond to emails. Infact block any incoming communications. Also talk to ICC  and tell them that 2031 WC will only be organized by India given the security situation in Bangladesh. Make that change now so that even GOI can't mediate later even if another government comes in power replacing Younus/Jamaat in BD after their elections in February.

Finally provide support to  Afghanistan, Nepal and UAE to develop their cricketing infrastructure.

Why seperate rules for Pakistan then?? They should also be discarded..

they at least have a case that India isn't tourning them & claiming security threat because of the recent conflict. ALso it was agreed about some time ago, BD wants an exception based IPL buff, which has little to do with actual security or within the realm of ICC.

Poor Scottish players got only 2 weeks to prepare. Some of them aren't even full time players they do another day to day job lol

None of them are fulltime , all have a second job mostly self employed in some kind of capacity because a Scottish fulltime contract is not enough to live on  .

That's the most stupidest thing I have read today. You would want to fix the current issue with a new gov if the new gov puts effort into fixing current issues rather than dragging sh*t around. You can't have enemies all around your boarder.

Gillespie seems a bit clueless:

>Timing of request so logistically issue, not just BCB will be affected but other teams in the same group, also changing groups is not fair on the team they are replacing as their planning becomes redundant if teams and venues change.

>India & Pakistan case is clearly different in terms of war history, terrorism, etc. Only a month after champions trophy Phalgham terrorist attack happened, so India was right in their analysis of security. India clearly would not have done a ‘Operation Sindoor’ if there was no clear indication that attacks were planned across the border.

>Fizz was let go not due to security issue it was due to sentiment of not wanting a Bangladeshi player benefit from IPL riches due to internal national sentiment , it was a domestic tournament nothing to do with international cricket. BCB switched this to make it a security issue which it is clearly not as a month ago 5 of their players were in IPL auction, I am not sure security threat in India has changed in 1 month. If something occurs during tournament it will be clear who will be behind this.

dont think ex players like him understand the full context

IMO fault lies with BCCI and ICC for this. Since this issue has started, BCB has been daily releasing media briefings showcasing them as the victim. PCB has also been using their media to show that Bangladesh are being victimized but there has been complete silence from both BCCI and ICC. Third party will assume that BCCI and ICC is guilty that is why they are silent.

Right from the start ICC and BCCI should have taken a stand and released official statements through media that such request this close to tournament will not be entertained due to logistic issues and in addition to that we have done independent security audit and it shows that India is safe.

Even right now ICC should release statement that we have told Uganda to be on standby if in case Pakistan decides to withdraw from competition. We have already moved Pakistan matches to Sri Lanka and even after that PCB wants to play this card then we have the replacement ready.

Because you have no clue about how Bangladesh politics works. They are a like that toxic girl friend who will whine if you do and whine if you don't. India is a convenient villain in their political fantasy to help mood swings in their electorate. They cultivate this consciously inside their borders when needed while also asking for free medical visas and cheap edibles for masses and raw materials for their industries. We are the bad guy no matter what we do. We don't need to engage them. That does not mean we need to fight them if that is what is your interpretation.

Operations Sindoor and now this has shown that the current dispensation are particularly short on the narrative setting. Whether that is by design or lack of effort , we do not know but it creates hell lot of confusion even for the domestic audience and allows the adversaries both internal and external to treat it as a vulnerability.

All politics are toxic. India isn't any better, nor is the west. Point of the matter is, no matter what, almost every country tries to strengthen their relationship with each other, espacially the one beside you - for political alliance and trade. My comment wasn't from a cricket perspective, rather from an ecomonical/political alliance. It's just commonsense. What you're suggesting is insane and luckily the world does not work like that. Like I said, if a new goverment wants to fix ties with India, you listen to it, make demands/request/negotiate and make alliance and move on. Sometimes in the future, after couple of generation, this will most likley happen between IND/PAK too ...

Icc can't do anything about the persecution complex comedy they've got going on in their own country. They've let them know politely both private and in public what the score is. Don't see why they have to fight a PR war because the other side are rabid retards. They gave them the chance to act in a level headed fashion along with deadlines, let then know the consequences.

If today say TCS or infy withdraws and offer letter issued to a Bangladeshi citizen , in response Bangladeshi govt comes out and says no more business with India. Please tell me who is stupid or over reacted ?
