deepdynamo Posted February 2 Posted February 2 He has two unqiue aspects- pause and then sling (like malinga). On low, spinning pitches & with ground with big boundaries, he would be a nightmare to face. But on good tracks, he is a halwa bowler.
Zero_Unit Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Not a chucker but that kind of bowling action should not be allowed.

No pause is legal now if the that is default to the bowlers stock action, it can not be a variation. But check out some of his other matches think these malinga/jadev kind of action is a variation , but he normally bowl with straightish arm think he has some issue with his stock action too. though pause is not illegal as long as it is part of stock action.
vvvslaxman Posted February 2 Posted February 2 i am not convinced about this full sleeve chucker. There is a definite kink.
putrevus Posted February 3 Posted February 3 He is fine, I don't see any problem.Unless his pause becomes too long. BacktoCricaddict and New guy 2
bsriharsha Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Even accepting the case that he has a deformity. The fact remains that the deformity allows him to gain an unfair advantage. He's chucking. Plain and simple. Tests prove that he can bowl the delivery legally in test conditions. Not that he does so in match conditions. It's the same Murali / Ajmal thing all over again. Ajmal was finally caught chucking at 45 degrees and reworked his action. rollingstoned 1
