By the time he gets ready, worldcup will be over. Justice for Samson it is, let’s all suck it up :) actually play Kishen at 3 and drop Rinku. Maybe he does well against part-time spinners. Problem with pushing Kishan at 3 though is that it'll push Tilak at 4 and don't know if he's a good fit there. Plus it'll take out the only reliable fielder & catcher we have in the team (Rinku). But yeah changes need to be made. But we need to get Bapu back in the team - that should be the no. 1 priority. Rest of the changes can be made later on. Sundar at 5 and Axar at 5 are two different things and am shocked the team management and Gambhir can't see it.

I would say Samson Abhishek Ishan SKY Axar Dube Hardik Washinton Kuldeep Varun/ Arshdeep Bumrah that would be the ideal X1. Axar is good enough to bat at 5, 8 is too low for him. Washington can play a stabilizing role for collapse or get over the line. Even though should never play T20I again unless he improves or turns it around, he does have a calm temperament and good technique so make use of him and extra off spinner.

No, this leaves batting too light. I would play Tilak ahead of Sundar. I would rather go with the following XI... Samson (faces the part-time spinner) Abhishek (final chance and if he fails next game, he gets dropped) Ishan Tilak Axar SKY Pandya Dube Arshdeep Bumrah Varun C Maybe SKY at 6 will allow him to play more freely and go after the bowling. Right now he's looking lost and takes too many deliveries to get going. Even against US he was dropped and only managed to score at the death. Sundar doesn't give you much with the ball and is useless with the bat so we'll have a very long tail. We need depth in the batting lineup so Tilak at 4. Or the option is to drop Tilak for Samson. Ishan goes to 3 and rest everything remains as is with Axar taking his spot from Sundar. maniac 1
