More heartburn for Azad and his ilk

On a side-note, Why is Tamil in new clips so different from colonial Tamil?

Pure Tamil. That never changed for decades.  I am sure it is the same in all languages.

The way I see it  being a hindu n remotely showing any pride has become controversial in bharat,,, as if its no longer a birth place of Sanatana dharma... almost as if being a hindu is an insult. How did it come to this?

14 km non stop walk?

A friend of my father went on a Narmada walk. Basically he covered both banks of the Narmada along the entire length, visiting temples enroute. And this whole journey took 4 months.

It isn't very well known, but a lot of religious people partake in this.

Just like he has a right to freedom of expression, those who are criticizing him, also have the same right and feel that he should be shown his place for the opinions he expressed. The same Hutiya would have praised the Indian team if they had gone to a.dargah or church or any other place of worship as a sign of India’s celebration of secularism and bhaichara . It’s not like the 80s where secular Hindus would deride their own religion or feel ashamed to show their religious identity, there is a whole new generation that feels proud of their Hindu culture. They’re not afraid to congregate in temples, listen to kathavachaks , sing bhajans, etc. they will not be ashamed if the Indian team went to a temple with the trophy. This is a fake outrage.

What should be condemned is the ICC president Jay Shah going to the temple with the team and celebrating India’s victory. He is supposed to be above all boards and not favor india. He should be criticized by all media for that.

Azad – A veteran of the great Indian sport of party-hopping, our seasoned politico has once again discovered fresh principles to stand on. Specialising in religious politics, he now faithfully toes his party’s line; pandering to one religious group while gently mollycoddling another. Predictably, those who disagree have started calling him out. Democracy, after all, works both ways.

Shah Jr. – Meanwhile, the nepo-politico baby of the establishment is busy hogging the limelight, projecting the aura of borrowed heroism—an almost textbook case of stolen valour. Unsurprisingly, he too is being called out.

The type of usual suspects who keep our tabloid media yelling and our people on the edge.

Yeah Siraj, Arshdeep, Bumrah and Sanju can skip if they want and take trophy to church/mosque/gurudwara

I will say no skipping. They must attend the temple and then take take everyone to Mosque church gurudwara. In my opinion, thats real nature of India.
