Suhaan Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Seems fine.There is a significant difference between May 6 and May 31 in terms of weather patterns. Although rain can occur anywhere,we should avoid regions prone to it, especially when selecting venues for test matches

Last year too games were moved due to early rain. It never rains in Chennai this time of the year. SW monsoon there is blocked by western ghats and misses whole of TN except Coimbatore. Chennai gets 95% of its rain in Nov-Dec, from NE monsoon.

It can't be that Modi stadium is the only stadium unaffected by the rain/monsoon. Per reports, KSCA wanted 10k VIP tickets more than the 15% allocated, which is like a total 16k tickets = 40% of its capacity. For A’bad, 6k is less than 5% of its capacity. 15% of its capacity would be close to 20k tickets, which will easily accommodate such 16k without even batting an eyelid! Wolf Den Edited May 7 by zen
