I remember that clearly. Reminded me just liek Kohli. He was so bitter and his post-match statement reeked of jealousy. That's the day I lost a lot of respect for Gill. He can't be a leader and he won't groom younger players just like Kohli was never able to bring even one youngster into the fold.

Issue is he plays with small extension of front foot, it becoming more common in all tall batters in Ind be it V.iyer/Gill/Padikal. making off-side game bit iffy.

In T20 inside power play this technique works arlight as they mostly manage to avoid the fielders

Eng tour was still fine. The RSA series at home irritated me, where we just spammed our MO with non-specialists. Sai at 3, Jurel 4, then Pant, Washi, Jaddu, NKR. Wtf was that? No wonder we got thumped by 400 runs.

I like him. He's another player who shows up in big matches. Did it when KKR won the title and is looking good today as well. Deserved a longer run with the Indian team but never got the chance thanks to our "stars" not being dropped or replaced.

 

He sucked in the one season where he was picked for 23 crores. He couldn't handle price tag pressure.

This is kolhi like total, he has made entire career with such target chases vs full strength itnl bowling line-up. 

Think he knows how its done, but if it goes till jitesh rcb will be 5/6 down ... can be hard then specially with rabada and rashid 2 top quality bowlers.

 

Jitesh can not handle pace of rabada and t20 quality of rashid

As far as bowling goes 

Jadeja averages 20.9x in India

             averages  36.9x outside India

             averages   52.xx  in England.

 

He basically should not play in England never mind bat at what position.

Worst part is they still didn’t select any middle order batsmen for the test squad. 
 

We are going to get thrashed in Sri Lanka because of this idiot Gill and his main character syndrome.
