We've enough data and stats to see that batting depth wins tourneys and not top heavy teams. So yeah not my opinion but cold, hard stats and facts.

Do you even understand that in a 12 team IPL, it is difficult to cover all bases for all teams.

Everyone and their dog knew except for Kohli bhakts that our pacers led by Bumrah pulled it out of fire. Kohli was stat-padding as usual and it was Axar and Dube's knocks which took India to some sort of total else we would've posted the same total GT posted today.

 

The very fact Cricinfo MVP of the match shows Kohli as the 7th best player in the match says it all. His contribution was similar to what Sundar's was in today's match. Kohli was simply given the MoM coz he was retiring as a goodwill gesture but every cricket follower knew who won that match.

What nonsense? I'm simply saying GT is a top heavy and a poorly constructed team and they won't win the trophy with this approach as this approach has been tried, tested and has failed :dontknow:

RRR was never a issue from the beginning, it was and is  all about wickets.

Yeah surprised he hasnt played more. Will be regular in other teams

This is not the first time

 

2022 world cup vs bangladesh. Kohli as usualy statpadded. His first six came in 19th over last ball. Then Ashwin finished with flourish in 20th over . But for that and KL Rahul's crazy run out of litton das we would have lost due to this pathetic knock

 

2022 semi final did the same tuktuking against livingstone and adil rashid. Made 50 off 40 which eventually proved  not to be enough.
