Without Dube and Axar we would've barely reached 150-160 and it would've been the same as getting bowled out for 140. The difference was the performances of our lower order and pace bowling.

Every team depends on its key players. 
 

No team has 11 great players. 
 

It is better than other 8 teams that did not make it in the season. 
 

No one stopped the other great well structured 8 teams to play good cricket and make it to playoff and then to final.

This is how team plan the game.  One set batters need to Play after 33-2 and rest started hitting. .. imagine Kohli out inside 50 runs and we would have not crossed the 140.   KOHLI was the difference who held the Indian innings and rest Play around him. .

Dubeys performance wasn’t comparable to the other two.

 

Axar was instrumental and so was Virat, we definitely wouldn’t have scored 176 if we were 40/4. Its a simple fact.

He is getting games gt because they lack batting, in other teams Arshad would have only played garbage time games. He is been around in IPL for years now.

 

The issue is IPL system does not value players like arshad, ipl bowling line-ups are same template -1 os pacer+ 1 ind capped pacer + 1 brijesh/harhal kind bowler or some1 which the francise is pushing for Ind selection <-- Mukesh kumar and kamboj
