Gollum Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 If Kiwis win in Eng as well, after the 3-0 in India, what an incredible achievement that will be. They also started Pak cricket decline with their series win in UAE. Truly a golden generation for them, and no signs of slowing down. @Lone Wolf I think the NZ-Aus 4 test series in Aus later this year will be exciting. Very tough season for Aussies coming up, tour to RSA, then this NZ one followed by away BGT and away Ashes. This old Aussie squad will find the schedule unforgiving. Lone Wolf 1

If Kiwis end up blanking us 2-0 yet again (which honestly looks v likely). I sense they can win a test or two against Aussies as well. Gollum 1

Lag raha hai aise hi kuch hoga, Aussies will lose steam and it will be RSA-NZ final this time. Lone Wolf 1

Gollum Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Poms haven't lost a series (>2 tests) since 2012. SL (2014), NZ (2021) beat them in 2 test series. Many drawn series in between, against Ind, Aus, Pak, NZ...

Chalks Posted June 28 Posted June 28 (edited) NZ are Australia's bitches in men's and women's cricket, the exact reverse of rugby union (where Wallabies haven't won the Bledisloe Cup since 2002, and Wallaroos have never beaten the Black Ferns (never gotten close, in fact)). Edited June 28 by Chalks

No chance that is anything other than a comprehensive whitewash.
Gollum Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 @rollingstoned our 2-2 draw in Eng doesn't look that impressive in hindsight. Eng is a clown team led by a clown management which treats test cricket like some joke. Lord 1

If you think Kiwis are a good team you can't think Poms are a bunch of bums, they beat them at home.

Especially the second test last week Poms were severely handicapped. NZ too have been injury hit in this game.. so nothing can be taken away from them as well. The fast bowling depth they have is seriously impressive. Some really tough characters in that XI. Poms can't wait for this series to get over. They have made mockery of this test overall and disrespected their opponents in the process as well.
