She agreed for the engagement, but did not like the fact that he wears a toupee and he stammers. She liked another guy who wanted to elope with her. She didn’t want the badnaam and hatches to kill him, pushes him off a cliff and kills him. Poor guy had no clue well all this was happening. Such cases where girls are murdering husbands, and fiancés is happening more frequently in India. It could be because of Family not giving the freedom to the girl and she resorts to such crime. Last year we came across such cases, Wife-BF murdering the guy and hiding it in Drum, that honeymoon couple where husband was killed. How hard it is to say NO. The victim's family is rich and influential so obviously will get justice relatively faster but life lost won't come back.

There are 1.4 billion people in India, there will be bad women & bad men. it is hard to generalize based on some cases, how many women have been pushed to their death either by suicide or turture for dowry? The problem is we advice to check background of ppl we get hitched to but fail to actually investigate in our own lives. if ketan's family had done due deligence they could have avoided this. If Siya's parent didn't push their daughter into a mairrage so young they could have avoided this. But at the end of the day, at 20 you know killing another human is wrong, she did it.
