That should have addressed the student concern genuinely, but as usual these tubelights can't take steps at the right time. Recently many protestors had gathered at Shivaji Park in Dadar to protest against this. Many were driven in police vans when situation was out of control. A huge sum of money and social media posts to instigate youth in protest seems to be main cause of the crowd. The whole protest seems to be staged to me - nobody in mumbai has time for such a protest. Not even the Mumbai student age crowd will gather for this stuff. ABVP is alsoa politcal student union which gets into wrong things because of plitical influence but It is a shame to see even foreign influence in Mumbai in a wrong way. Even some students of well to do families are falling prey to this. The poor anyways will get some daily cash like they ask for to participate in election rallies.

And this victory comes up with a cost, cost of negative marketing, which imprints on these so called GenZs who were sucking their thumb when Mumbai terror attack happened, or were chitting in their pants when India was being blasted across the length and breadth by the sleeper cells and scams. Yes BJP is in backfoot for some unsure reason. I am all for education reforms but education minister resigning under hollow threats of CJP was a poor move by Govt. It all kickstarted from there. We all knew education was a propaganda and CJP/opposition used it as a means to peddle their narrative. Once Pradhan resigned, they demanded resignation of Amit Shah and now every other day openly threatening govt for protests season 2 ala Netflix style. Opposition didn't allow any meaningful session in parliament, no FCRA bill was allowed to pass, no women's bill was allowed to pass, changing goalposts every day, openly mocking Prime Minister as Bandar (monkey) outside the house, using derogatory sexist remarks against foreign leaders. This btw, is the arrogance of a party who couldn't even win 100 seats in last 3 consecutive general elections. This is the arrogance of a 55 year old young leader whom the country has rejected atleast 50 times. And BJP is allowing all of this to happen. If there is no bigger plan at play here which I am missing, I think Modi & Shah has lost it. Also, young people in general are impressionable, emotional and easily influenced. I wish we would teach - from a very young age - statistical and quantitative thinking, as well as the ability to discern good information from bad. Children should know from a young age about graphing, simple statistics, common logical fallacies, correlation vs causation, differences between anecdotal evidence vs. good evidence, and how cherry picked evidence from social media can be misleading.
