Not to take any credit away from Bang but off season, non marquee series, secondary tropical venues and ageing Australian side are all a perfect storm for a test series loss.

I think that's why Aussies needed to be humbled...  They won't try this next time and would host them in their home sunmer season.  4 years is a long time and under Shanto BD seems to be going in right direction.

WI and Poms are scheduled to TOUR BD in February 2027.

BD will fancy a series win over England

Deep down there is going to be bitterness . Last time Pakistan won was way back in 1995. That is about 31 years back good 4 years before Bangladesh got test status.

But Pakistan will celebrate the fact that they won when Australia was strong, and the Australia team of now is mediocre and stuff.

They will remember the golden days of Shoaib making Ponting hop around in Perth (who went on to score 197 btw and won) or that spell from Wahab to Steve Smith in World Cup.

Dileri  Jigdaaa Jazba Junoon Phainta you name it....

Lot  more happier in an  'arrogant AUS ' lose  at home than disappointed in an  'extremely   religious extremist BAN'  win  . 'arrogant  AUS' has managed to get their whole nation silent for quite a while now.

Congratulations Bangladesh.

And to those Pakistanis in Pakpassion who are vicariously living through a team which best them 4-0

Indians are taking the mickey out of paksitani fans while pretending to praise Bangladesh, lol. That forum is dominated by indian fans now

Actually bd is the second best team in Asia

In tests without a doubt.  However if we refuse to play with them we are only left with 6/8 sides in WTC system which will be a shame tbh.

Sri Lankans & WI will benefit as we will regularly tour them from now onwards.

WI will host us for 2 tests in July next year

Australia, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe looks like a rivalry worth following....

Their H2Hs this year across formats

Aus 4-3 BD

BD 3-4 Zim

Zim 1-0 Aus

We need those tri series in Australia back and settle this once and for all:target:

That was becoming strong. Not the world ebating side Current pace unit is better than 1995 pace unit.  Australia became a well rounded side only in 1999. They lost to us in One off test too. Mongia made 152. Then they lost to us 2-1 in 1998. They got battered even by Mumbai team.

All the Aussie Aussie oi oi oi chants were quickly shut down with Bangladesh Bangladesh chants by the BD crowd at the ground today.
