Thats regressive in my opinion.

 

Why cant we invest in someone like Nishant Sindhu for white ball cricket? He is just 22 and has a lot of potential.

Jadeja in red ball is still understandable, but in white ball doesnt make much sense.

Is it to get Jaiswal in the XI and play Gill at 4?

yes jadeja is regressing , but still he is the best fielder Ind has. Yes sure develop new players.

 

Nishant is neither a batter now a bowler. Do not think he is intnl. quality  He is an inferior version of hash dubey.

 

Shebaz ahmed has shown he can bat he has done well in ipl and domestics, not sure if he bowls that much now ,but he should be tried.

 

The overall is same Ind does not have batter who can bowl and bowlers who can bat, Ind lacks lower and middle order batters

Manav should be in here instead of Jadeja. Bats a bit: Not an Ideal lower order option but he would be a good ODI bowler.

None of Ind bowler can bat thats the issue. Let manav play couple of season of test cricket. 

Introducing him to white-ball will turn him into a darter. He is not that effective vs Lh batters

But he is going to be ready for world cup by playing all these useless t20s.
