THX_1138 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 i think a blind leper could have batted better than sachin, laxman, ganguly and dravid. there is no reason why the young ones ought not to get a shot at glory here. i say that let this home series against australia be tendulkar and ganguly's farewell. heck, ganguly ought to be sacked before that. i am still willing to persist with laxman and dravid for another year, maybe more with laxman... but if tendulkar cannot fire against australia, he should retire form test cricket.
Chaos Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Yuvi's only form of attack and defence against spinners - "THE SWEEP" :hysterical: exactly that moron sweeps the ball when the ball is hitting the MIDDLE STUMP. U have to get ur leg out of the line towards off and sweep

siddhu Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 This series was a fiasco. The middle order lacked initiative, guts and couldn't handle themselves against challenging bowlers creating pressure. None of the batsmen had the nerve to take the attack with a well placed slog sweep or loft over long on to try and disrupt the bowling. India deserves better, India's fans deserve better. Get a batsman like my Yuvraj into the middle order and I am sure things will only change!
