My fav movie as a kid. Hasn't aged too well though. Other than Michael Madan Kamarajan and a couple more of his comedies like Pushpak Vimanam and Panchatantiram, most of his movies feel like watching Sivaji Ganeshan. Even Anbe Sivam and Nayakan feel like hyperbole acting.

The one I posted, symbolises the journey and experiences he go through while living with the profession that he choose. Lakshya is one of my top 5 fav movies, minus the lovestory and agendas, it's a phenomenal movie. That's the impact Cinema can cause if they really put their brains behind.

I don't understand the lyrics except for pookal pookum tharunam which I think means when flowers bloom but the song is so lovely to listen to! Music lovers, listen to the full song even if you don't know Tamil!

Not a war movie per se. It was a movie about self discovery with war as the (rather important) backdrop. I like this song (and dance ) too.
