Should Bhaji be guaranteed a spot?

For a bowler guaranteed a spot in the final XI, I don't think he's doing enough with the ball as the leading spinner. Maybe him keeping the runs down allows others to get wickets at times, but that isn't always the case. He used to be the bowler we could turn to for wickets, but that doesn't happen anymore and even if we do he doesn't get those wickets. On a pitch like todays against Ireland he had a good chance to get some wickets

Let me put this way. He should not be an automatic selection. Ojha is more potent than him. He is not even in the squad. So Ashwin must play. But for his batting performances he would not be playing.

hes not bad,got crucial wicket against England.but yeah should be told to go for wickets, even if he goes for 50-60 runs

Average display for a bowler of his experience, But is an automatic starter, esp after Chawla's performance. We should have a look at Ashwin for the next game.

Of course yes, extends our batting to number 8 , has won key matches for us with the bat, so why not. Kept one end tight and the batsmen were looking to play him out. It would help if he takes wickets some more wickets though.

Bhaji is just like Sehwag in Indian team. Both of them are moody players, they can be out of form for 1 year, and then perform really well and this cycle shall continue.

They guy is a fraud in all senses. Projects an image of being aggresive but in reality is a mouse as his performances over the past few years indicate. When the going gets tough, he hides. He is in the team apparently as a strike bowler, looks like he has had all of us fooled.
