To be honest rohit did not sparkle in this tourney. Was ok but no more. More a test player. Even I could not imagine how good jadeja would become. Sacry thing is he will get only better.:giggle:

Jadeja's effort in the last over I was amazed and that moment pumped me up when Jadeja dived all the way to save that obvious boundary. I think it was a top effort under pressure. It didn't go our way in the end as Kumar unleashed Dodge ball later but Jadeja's effort in the field was brilliant. He was live wire all during those tense moments. He definitely deserves credit for being a good ODI player. With all his limitations, he still comes out with some great results. One of the best fielder in India.

I think apart from Ashwin and Ishant rest pretty much throw themselves around.. Ishant is a serious offender in fielding as well, the guy almost gives up anything remotely difficult... Ashwin is just a pathetic fielder due to fitness issues but he's turning out to be a very good catcher in slips and close in positions.

Our bowlers haven't been good fielders or athlete. Recently Zaheer and Pathan improved little bit in that aspect, but they weren't brilliant. Our best Athletic bowlers who would throw themselves on field were - Kapil Dev and Agarkar. I haven't seen any other bowler with better fielding skills than these two. I didn't watch much of Kapil Dev, but I know he used to be pretty good. Agarkar, I saw plenty of times saving plenty of runs and taking good catches.
