duke Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 One of the few likable Indian cricketers. Absolute champ. Much respect
Stuge Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Rahul Dravid should have retired after England tour: Sourav Ganguly:wall: Cant this fellow ganguly just shut up!There is a time and place for everything. yes ,this is not the time to discuss all this ,but he was pretty much spot on .Like Sachin should have retired after world cup .
Lord Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 yes ' date='this is not the time to discuss all this ,but he was pretty much spot on .Like Sachin should have retired after world cup .[/quote'] always easy to say it in hindsight.not many of us wanted SRT to leave right after WC or Dravid after England. anyways its a personal decision
master22 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 yes ' date='this is not the time to discuss all this ,but he was pretty much spot on .Like Sachin should have retired after world cup .[/quote'] He could have told him personally if he wanted to.Why come out with these statements in public on the day he is retiring.
India-KXIP fan Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Absolute legend, it will be sad seeing India without Dravid in Tests. Sachin and VVS should also retire over the next year. Maybe after the England and Aus home series'?
phaedrus Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 genuinely sad today. will be spending time watching a lot of highlights. Thank you Rahul Dravid.
daryl1985 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Legend, the ultimate team man and always gave his all for India. Will really miss watching him bat in test matches. Along with Sachin, he is my favourite player of all time. Good luck in whatever you do Rahul.
diga Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Saw a quote on the web People say Sachin is God.... Ganguly is the God of Off side....Laxman is the God of 4th innings.....But when the doors of the Temple are closed, even God is behind the WALL..
kabira Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 He has another record to play maximum consecutive test matches without missing one. can anyone confirm??
zen Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Tears in my eyes .... Rahul, you will be missed. Thanks for your invaluable contribution to Ind cricket
shinchan Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 LEGEND.Thank u sir for playing India.we will always remember you:hatsoff::hatsoff:
coffee_rules Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 feeling sad, hopefully saachin and laxman follow...
Karan114 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 He has another record to play maximum consecutive test matches without missing one. can anyone confirm?? No - overall record held by Border and Indian record by Gavaskar. However, Dravid only missed three Tests in 16 years - one against Lanka in 2005 because of a viral infection and two against SA in 2010 after he was hit in the face by Shahadat Hossain in the preceding series. Amazing fitness. I believe Kapil Dev would have held the Indian record but for that Test in the 1980s when he was dropped for playing a bad shot (some politics involved there I think).
rkt.india Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 He has another record to play maximum consecutive test matches without missing one. can anyone confirm?? it was broken by Gilchrist I guess.
