I don't think that is totally correct or else same people would be having problem with many other previous PM like Lal Bahadur Shastri or HD Devigowda or even Mr Vajpayee. The problem was mostly due to his bold , non humble, not ready to take shet kind of nature which many people in India do not like. We are fed from our childhood that person who speaks less, who is well formally educated, is humble in nature is a good person this fierce nature of Modi was something new for a high level politician which many people were not able to digest.
