Clarke Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Bloody atrocious  Just watch Sehwag act as if someone fired gunshots at him. The drop by Pujara in one of the previous tests cost us a gold brick as well. We better build some good ones or else all the potential hard work by batsmen/bowlers will be wiped out by missed opportunities.
Lord Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 GG n Kohli should be there P.S. missing Dravid n VVS:((
King Tendulkar Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 sehwag was a disgrace, did not even bother to keep low. not concentrating or bothered, dreaming of ladoos. but then when you keeper/captain is always sloppy and not bothered in the field, the tone is set
Clarke Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 Sehwag survives another gunshot :hysterical:
Crookbond Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Chawla to Ian Bell, no run, Sehwag drops another catch at slip. Tossed up googly outside off, Bell looks to cut and edges to Sehwag who just wasn't ready. He infact did not even hit his hands, he was actually surprised by it. Very poor indeed
CG Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 He actually laughs after dropping catches.what a moron.Kick these guys out
Crookbond Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 :wall: Mohammed Shami to Gayle, no run, dropped! Gayle goes for the big drive against a full ball outside off and gets a thick edge, it flies to Ashwin at head height at first slip and he parries the ball. It lobs over his head, Kohli dives full length to his right from gully to try and catch it but fails to reach it, superb attempt
SLICKR392 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 He actually laughs after dropping catches.what a moron.Kick these guys out This! And he still had a fair chance to take the catch if he had turned around. Raina and Kohli tried to dive and nab that ball, but Ashwin was unmoved.
vvvslaxman Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 We have no specialists. We just have to keep persisting with them. Even Clarke was struggling when he was suddenly placed in the slips. It requires practice.
Lord Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 This! And he still had a fair chance to take the catch if he had turned around. Raina and Kohli tried to dive and nab that ball' date=' but Ashwin was unmoved.[/quote'] hes talking about Sehwag
Muloghonto Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 For all the bashing sehwag gets for his fielding ( and its warranted to some degree), he still remains the best slip fielding option available to India by a significant margin. His slip fielding is not stellar but it is above average and competent enough to be put in atleast one of the three slip positions for most sides. Especially against spin, Sehwag is an excellent slipper. Against pace he is an ordinary slipper but its not that common to have excellent slippers to pace, particularly first slip, for short men. In my time watching, Lara was the rare exception, an excellent short guy fielding at first slip to fast men. Alan Border too comes to mind but he too had a couple of inches on Sehwag.
maniac Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 going to be the maker or break once again....watch this space
ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 dont have confidence in kohli at slips. get someone else
Forever Indian Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Rahane and Jaddu could be developed into decent slip fielders. They seems to be natural when it comes to catching so they should do well.
SLICKR392 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Kohli dropped a sitter at the slip during the warm ups. This alone can lose us the series, just like in NZ.
Crookbond Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Mohammed Shami to Robson, no run, dropped, Rahane the man of the day yesterday has put down a straightforward chance at first slip, Shami sends it at the back of a length and moves it away just a bit , enough to get the edge, whoch carries through to Rahane at second slip, he can't wrap his fingers around it, juggles it a few times, Jadeja tries to take that rebound but he can't, should take those
Gollum Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Slip catching will cost us more matches than our already good for nothing bowling !!!
adi B Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Very poor in slip catching almost like butter fingers.kohli is the worst and the biggest offender
