goggi Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 oh man, this is tough, in terms of stats hardly anything between them
JaFanatic Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 all of them are superb i've seen steyn a lot a little of pollock none of donald so obviously i may be bs towards steyn but you cant complain i guess!
Rohit S. Ambani Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 This guy was great also - Matches : 101 Wickets : 390 Avg : 28.82 SR : 53.4 5w : 18 10w : 4
Clarke Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 The gun for me. BTW Pollock would lead the pack wrt ODIs. An economy rate of <4 is outstanding for any era.
vandokkum Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Steyn without a doubt, I don't rate limited overs performances.
Sandeep99 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Love Donald, Steyn! But Steyn's tooooo good...
Sandeep99 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 There are few players who you'd love even when they're doing well against your own team! Steyn is one of that kind! KING!
Gunner Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Steyn is the Greatest Fast Bowler of our time. He has been my favorite cricketer ever since he demolished India's top order at Nagpur in one of the most devastating displays of fast bowling in the subcontinent.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Please add Neil Adcock as an option in the poll. Adcock along with Peter Heine were one of the most fearsome fast bowling pairs and probably the best new ball pair for SA.
vamos_rafa Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 As the Bee Gees would say, "Steyn" Alive. He's one heck of a bowler. :hatsoff:
Number Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Donald started his career at the age of 26 due to SA being banned. How good he would have been in his raw years 22-26, considering he was the fastest ever before Akhtar came.
rkt.india Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Donald started his career at the age of 26 due to SA being banned. How good he would have been in his raw years 22-26, considering he was the fastest ever before Akhtar came. Donald is their best alround bowler for all formats.
Trichromatic Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Donald was fearsome in both formats. You can always boast or believe your batsmen to destroy Steyn, but I never got same feeling while watching Donald. Pollock was good in ODIs, but not close to Donald and Steyn in longer version of the game. Still Steyn seems to be their best bowler in tests.
I6MTW Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 At the end of his career Steyn would've surpassed Muralitharan as the highest wicket taker in tests and odi's.
