Vijay - 10/10. After initial failure came back strongly and performed in all three matches and was part of big partnerships which set up the match. Dhawan - 10/10. Played one innings but what an innings it was. Without this innings Mohali would have been a draw. Sehwag - 1/10. Past it. Goodbye, noble one. Pujara - 10/10. Awesome in Hyd and awesome in both innings on a tough pitch today. Also did a recovery in Chennai. Tendulkar - 5/10. Was good in parts. Did a recovery in Chennai. Also made crucial partnerships in both the Mohali innings plus Delhi first innings. Looks past it though. Rahane - 1/10. Debut on a tough pitch. Can't really fault him. Nerves and all (Although the second shot was a brainfart) Kohli - 9/10. Saved the innings in Chennai. Plus had an important 50 in the Mohali 1st innings plus an important 40 today with Pujara. Dhoni - 8.5/10. Was awesome in Chennai. Saw India through in Mohali and today. Also did some good work behind the stumps. Jadeja - 10/10. Important innings in Delhi. Plus the bowling... the bowling! Ashwin - 10/10. Didn't score runs but you don't need to when you are bowling so well. Will prolly be the best spinner in the world in a couple of years. Ojha - 6.5/10. Bowled well with moderate success. Took important wickets though. Harbhajan - 1/10. Heh. Ishant - 4/10. Mostly sucked. Bowled some beauties though and made important breakthroughs. Bhuvi - 6.5/10. In unhelpful conditions took out the top order twice, second one leading to a win in Mohali. Also batted well with Dhoni in Chennai and Kohli in Mohali.

Your ratings are extreme... either very high or very low. Needs more rationality. Vijay deserves 8, Kohli probably 7, Ashwin 8 and Jadeja 8.

BK 8 with 6 wickets in the series, was expensive. Ishant has 7, better ER, marginally better average too.

Vijay - 8.5/10. He has shown patience and was the back bone of Indian batting in last three tests and yet showed same flaws which will be exposed overseas.Has to be given 10/10 for being so consistent and patient in last three tests.He simply is the unsung hero of this series. Dhawan - 10/10. The best innings of series was played by him, just pure class.Hope he does not turn out to be one match wonder. Sehwag - 1/10. Past it. Goodbye, noble one. Pujara - 9/10. He is the future of Indian batting , He has passed every test thrown at him so far with flying colors.His 82 today was just simply amazing Tendulkar - 2/10. He is done, Needs to go. Rahane - 1/10. He has not done any favors for himself, he looked tense and getting out cheaply is not big deal but the way he batted never inspired any confidence. Kohli - 6.5/10. He needs lot of maturing, he never looked assuring like Pujara but he played two vital innings.He stinks at slips. Dhoni - 7.5/10. Was brilliant in Chennai but again showed he will be a sitting duck when ball moves even little bit.Tried to change his batting style to extreme worked once yet to be seen how far this Dhoni will last. Jadeja - 8/10. The person who gained the most from this series along with Vijay, has not shown yet he can bat in tests. Ashwin - 8.5/10. he has to lead Indian bowling overseas , he needs to bowl lot better against righties. Putting too much on his plate but he has shown he is very thinking cricketer. Ojha - 5.5/10. Since he does not do anything else to help the team, he will play home matches only Harbhajan - 1/10. Heh. Ishant - 2.5/10. It is a wonder this guy has played 51 test matches. Bhuvi - 4.5/10. So far He is only one trick pony. if he does not get wickets from New ball , he is essentially useless.We need to see how he does in Champions trophy and beyond.

Vijay - 9 Had a poor test match at Chennai, then batted superbly. Pujara - 9 Except for Mohali test, did excellently. Dhawan - 10 Played a phenomenal innings Kohli - 8 Batted well but gave away his wicket on a couple of occasions when he should have gone ahead and scored big. Sachin - 4 Really only one good innings at Chennai. Had a start in Mohali but couldnt convert. Dhoni - 8 That 225 was phenomenal, finished the game on 2 occasions. Keeping was good on tough tracks. Ashwin - 10 Bowled brilliantly. Wrecker in chief Jadeja - 10 Superb bowling effort. Performed way above expectations Ishant - 5 Got only 3 wickets in Mohali, 3 wickets in Delhi. Should have done much better B Kumar - 6 Did well in Hyd by picking 3 top order wickets and in Mohali by taking another 3 wickets but couldnt do anything in Delhi. But he is still a young bowler who is learning. Ojha - 6 Didnt bowl well enough in first innings at Delhi but in second innings, got into a good rhythm. Its hard to come back after being benched. Bhajji - 7 Much improved bowling effort. Kept it tight for other bowlers to attack. Rahane Didnt do much in the only test he played in. Should be given more chances. Sehwag - 0 He struggled and hence got dropped

Vijay - 9 - One point deducted because of the first test Dhawan - 10 - Brilliant Rahane - 1 - Couldn't make use of the only opportunity Sehwag - 1 - Past it Pujara - 10 - Brilliant Sachin - 3.5 - Past it Kohli - 7 - Played some good knocks, would have liked him to stay there till the end at Mohali. Also, dropped some catches. Dhoni - 10 - Brilliant Jadeja - 10 - Brilliant Ashwin - 10 - Brilliant Bhuvi - 6.5 Bowled well with the new ball and fielded well too, batted well at Chennai. Ishant - 5 - Bowled well in patches but largely ineffective as always Ojha - 4 - Expected much more from him Harbhajan - 3 - Past it.
