Laaloo Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Like MI played 5 foreigners and shifted SF to their home ground when they qualified. :giggle: And I am ashamed that we needed to do this. I did not agree with it and I was against it. There is no such feeling of that from the csk mafia camp.
superstar Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 +++ too bad the csk mafias cannot see this. It's so blatantly obvious :dontknow: Which match do you honestly think was affected by this? Highly unlikely RCB would have fielding murali. The move was a blessing for Pune.
Detonator Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 And I am ashamed that we needed to do this. I did not agree with it and I was against it. There is no such feeling of that from the csk mafia camp. In that case :hatsoff:
Number Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 It should be definitely be shifted. But only to Bangalore so that CSK fans can make it without much difficulty. Opponent team's ground. There will be at least side of fans present. Or you are scared of playing away from home. :winky:
carnish Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Yes, They Should Be Shifted, Possibly To Hyderabad, Which Never Gets To Host Any Important Games. And With This Season There Being A Chance Of SRH Qualifying, It Would Be A Brilliant Move.

BeautifulGame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Opponent team's ground. There will be at least side of fans present. Or you are scared of playing away from home. :winky: Or that i love going to cricket matches unlike armchair fans :winky:
adi B Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Madraas race has already made a joke of the tournament by modifying rules to disadvantage other teams. Might as well go [shastri] the full Monty [/shastri] and also move the finals and the other playoff to Chennai as well. completely agree, lets not jump ahead of ourselves, sreeni will flex his muscle at every point ill morally to retain the title and playoff at chennai
carnish Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 thats very much possible with hyderabad being owned by Sun Thambis & co Not happening ... cricinfo says it will either be Bengaluru or Mumbai.
BeautifulGame Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Not happening ... cricinfo says it will either be Bengaluru or Mumbai. Pathetic if moved to Mumbai
Zelig Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 They will be shifted to the mafioso house from the West :((
Ram Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 If CSK manage to win this year's edition, it will be one of the most hollow victories of all time. Not having lankan players being able to play in madras is ludicrous handicap for several teams. Often times, a team's only as strong as its weakest link. If a team has to substitute its first choice lankan player for a another player, that could be the sole reason why they lost the game.

I dont know which team wins this circus and it hardly matters at all. But - agreed that this will be hollow, in case csk wins. The only thing that matters after IPL is if Indian players are not injured and can they get in shape and form for other real cricket (Intl matches)
diga Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 As always, Srini Mama buys time ... typical politician, hoping the situation resolves itself The IPL governing council deferred the decision of shifting the two playoff games that were scheduled to be played in Chennai on May 21 and 22, respectively. Following political pressure before the tournament, the BCCI asked franchises to refrain from fielding their Sri Lankan players in games played in Chennai. With Sri Lankans featuring in many teams, the franchises have been asking for the playoff games - the first qualifier and the eliminator - to be moved out of Chennai. However, the IPL governing council, which met in Chennai on Monday, decided to adopt a wait-and-watch approach. "If the political issue in Tamil Nadu subsides, the question of shifting the games won't arise," said a BCCI insider, who attended the meeting. "The playoffs are still a month away, so there is no need to rush into any decision."
Sidhoni Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Won't make a difference, CSK's away record is 100% this season :proud:
Ezilkannan Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Not happening ... cricinfo says it will either be Bengaluru or Mumbai. I hope they don't move it to Mumbai, pathetic crowd they are.
Texy Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 I hope they don't move it to Mumbai' date=' pathetic crowd they are.[/quote'] I can bet Srini mama will do everything in his power to keep the venue unchanged. Non-CSK teams should boycott IPL if they have to play playoffs at Chepauk with the current parameters.
Texan Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Not just playoffs, all matches in Chennai need to be shifted out. This is incredibly inconvenient for IPL teams to make team selections based on regional politics.
