G_B_ Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 They are ranked 5th in tests and 6th in ODIs and looking at the points they are going to be stuck to those places for a long time. Its not just one bad tournament. their best batsman is 39 years old. Ajmal is 35 years old. The likes of Shoaib Farhat Akmal Hafeez are 30 plus years old. In that sense Pak played a very mature team.
Sarkar Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Who cares there is a reason rivalry exists op don't ask stupid questions do you remember how they taunted when we didn't reach semis of t20 world cups like I care loved the way I trolled Pak fans yesterday.
zumi Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 pakistan is still a good team, just half and half of their team are at the extreme ends of capability. they have a good bunch of bowlers, they need to go to grassroot level and employ Indian batting coaches to teach them footwork and temperament.
zumi Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 and Misbah needs to be celebrated NOT booed!, it was pathetic yesterday to see Misbah being booed, from indian point of view (and personally) he has been the most likeable Pakistani captain.
King Khan Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 IMO Over-grown balls of arrongant Brit-Paki fan attitude deserved this. Now they will learn how to step on the ground. They were hyping CT as like Pakistan were going to have home event in England! Knowing them, these so called fans will now spit on there team to disgrace Pakistan. I dont feel sorry for Pakistan, sooner or later like any other nat side they will bounce back again. I'm just glad what performance they presented in England, these English spectators deserved it.
jalebi_bhai Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Absolutely no sympathy.......regarding their team.......you reap, what you sow........their cricketing hierarchy is uber-unprofessional from top to bottom........they are hardly a team.......just a bunch of individuals.......
BeautifulGame Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 :WTF: Feel sad for Pakistan team ? Hopefully this scenario continues and we continue to dominate padosis in world tournaments.
King Tendulkar Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Is the OP having a laugh? Cant be serious surely
KeyboardWarrior Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I dont feel sad, ups and downs comes in every sport. we just need 2 young new batsmen like MoYo and Inzy and everything will be fine soon. and Pakistan is unpredictable team, thats it :dontknow: i just feel happy for misbah :yay:
Lord Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 A team like Pakistan should adopt 7+4 strategy like India. Even with weak bowling line up India mostly adopted this policy. When i say 7.. they have to be specialists not bit part players like Hafeez. Yes 5th bowling option can cost you the game. But if you consider yourselves as bowling powerhouse then you won't need much of 5th bowling option. They have to stop being obsessive with bit part players. What happens is when they fail with bat they try to survive with ball and vice versa.. You should not give such options to them to prolong their career. Irfan pathan has much better batting skills than majority of Pakistan top order. But we never consider that as a skill and promptly dropped him until he got better in bowling. THey should go for specialist batsmen. Specialist bowlers. Specialist keeper. Things will fall in place. I know there is dearth of talent there. But they have no choice but allow them to fail for a while instead of going back and forth. lol they are struggling to find 2 good batsmen, you are talking of 7:giggle:
MCcricket Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Pakistan hasn't produced a decent world class batsmen in ages, Youhana was the last of their good batters, Younis Khan sucked in ODI'S, EVEN BOWLERS ARE NOT GOOD AS BEFORE BUT BETTER COMPARED TO THEIR BATTERS THOUGH, PCB is a joke and the country is in such a turmoil it is a surprise it has a team. Domestic cricket structure is weak and cricket mostly relies on corporate teams based tournaments. The Pakistani fans may I say few of them are jingoistic and irritating and not alive to where their cricket is realistically and so is PCB.
Sachinism Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Pakistani cricket needs help, yes I miss them being a force, another top competitive team. Making international cricket more exciting, than feel like there should be a top and bottom division. Do I feel sorry for them? Very difficult with the fans they have...
ravishingravi Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Sorry is not the word. As as I said earlier, given the circumstances they have one done well over last two years. But they look deflated. They lack batting talent. There is not much promise coming through. They were considered favourites by many including me. So not sorry. But overall picture looks gloomy.
vvvslaxman Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 lol they are struggling to find 2 good batsmen' date='you are talking of 7:giggle:[/quote'] :cantstop: I know it is like searching for a needle in haystack . But if they keep going back to guys like Hafeez, Malik, Afridi (bowler who can bat a bit and vice versa) their misery will continue much longer.
vvvslaxman Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Australia sucks balls ,So is Pakistan, West Indies. NZ is coming up. SA is not exactly dominating anyone except in Tests. England perennial :fail: in ODI. I want all teams to be stronger and stronger. That will be good for cricket. It is not like we have 100 countries playing cricket.
panther Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 No if the right players are picked it is an easy fix, bowlers pick themselves, u akmal comes back in the side, u amin is a good batsman should be given a long run, just need another opener. Jamshed opener u amin u akmal misbah hafeez wk
JaFanatic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 No if the right players are picked it is an easy fix, bowlers pick themselves, u akmal comes back in the side, u amin is a good batsman should be given a long run, just need another opener. Jamshed opener u amin u akmal misbah hafeez wk lala?
carnish Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Christian' date=' no point going back to moyo now.[/quote'] Okay, my mistake but why was he dealt so unjustly being a star for so many years??
