cowboysfan Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I think he has something there if can swing the white ball, someone to keep an eye on atleast for LOI cricket.
Lord Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 better than legend and Ishant already, not that its too difficult
urbestfriend Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Yeah..Need more chances in high level, Ranji in plate will no good.
msb1991 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Yeah..Need more chances in high level' date=' Ranji in plate will no good.[/quote'] I hear this view a lot and I don't understand it. If he has potential, he will surely get a lot of wickets at this low level. Surely the natural progression is first to dominate the low levels and then maybe get picked up by a Super League state and/or play for 'A' Team.
G_B_ Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 He did reverse it right today? especially the dhoni wicket or was that late movement?
Old guy Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 He did reverse it right today? especially the dhoni wicket or was that late movement? late swing not reverse
Lord Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 He did reverse it right today? especially the dhoni wicket or was that late movement? no it was conventional but seeing his action,I think he can get reverse swing too
Vilander Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 he bowled 2-3 deliveries over 140, rest mostly at around 138-139 the delivery to get rid of Dhoni was swing with pace. He is good, and definitely has better control than Yadav at slightly lesser pace.
Mornantau Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 If he wants to add a few yards .... What is Ian pont doing in Karnatake why doesnt he at least make an offer to these budding talents like Shukla and Suyal even Umesh n Aaron
rkt.india Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 More 143kph bouncers and the type of late swingers that dismissed Dhoni will have him in the India set up quickly. He can bowl even quicker but that may lead to loss of control. He is bowling very much within himself to attain more control on his bowling this series. He had bowled quicker than this in IPL against KKR and CSK.
rkt.india Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 He did reverse it right today? especially the dhoni wicket or was that late movement? that ball seamed away after pitching. Seam was pointing towards fine leg for an inswinger and hit the seam and moved away.
Old guy Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 So does this guy have what it takes ? no even he is not ready with our bowlers its always the next step to work on weakness and improving what you already have is where we go wrong
div Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Hemant Buch @hemantbuch 13h @cricketaakash outswing bowler. Should do well in longer versions too. Details Aakash Chopra @cricketaakash 13h @hemantbuch had go be dropped mid-season...apparently couldn't care less. But yes, I agree with you.
rkt.india Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 So does this guy have what it takes ? Guys like Yadav, BK, Aaron, Pandey, Shami, Shukla, Kulkarni, and Suyal all have what it takes but issue is not to stagnate and learn quickly and improve once they play at that level.

I think he sometimes bowl too short and bowling short does not get you many wickets.
div Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I think he sometimes bowl too short and bowling short does not get you many wickets. some players are more interested in IPL :--D
rkt.india Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 some players are more interested in IPL :--D IPL is what brings them in limelight quickly, especially players from small states. His injuries for 2 consecutive years have not helped him too but now he will to show his domestic performance too this season.
FischerTal Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 IPL is what brings them in limelight quickly' date=' especially players from small states.[/quote'] i think he has chance to be selected for India's T20I team. He can make it big in the 2014 WC. although its gonna be held in Bangladesh :((
