In my eyes, it has been tarnished. I was in tears when they picked him and carried him around wankhede. What followed did effect my perception of him ? Anyhow it is not time to nitpick. Great man has left the field. Now we can celebrate and cherish the man and the joy he has given all of us.

But if you really want a comparison, Sachin is way ahead of Dravid in all matters. Dravid might marginally overtake Sachin in Gentlemanship. But that's all it is.

He is desperate to get his two mins of fame.
The Outsider Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 What an incredible career and presence Tendulkar had over the years! As much as the runs and technique, it was his enthusiasm for the sport which was unmatched and infectious. I hope he gets to enjoy a bit of his private life in the coming years after being under media scrutiny since the age of 15.
