The Realist Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 With this "bowling attack" + Dhoni's bone-headed captaincy 0-7 is very much on the cards
Sandeep99 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 There's not a single wicket taking bowler in this team! Single!!
DomainK Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I have lost count of similar suggestions in this forum. Every now and then, someone hopes for a heavy defeat for India so that some issue could be resolved.
express bowling Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 There's not a single wicket taking bowler in this team! Single!! If you fill your team with 127 k trundlers and bad fastmedium pacers who are proven failures, then that is the predictable result. Why are we surprised?
express bowling Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 And the wrist slitting continues.... OP will a 0-7 thrashing suddenly produce 155 kmph bowlers in India? What about decently skilled fast-medium pacers who can bowl 135 k to 140 k. Surely we have a few of those in our country. Most decent international pacers fall in this category as well. Dhawal Kulkarni, Shami, Pankaj Singh etc. would fall in this category. Maybe even Mohit. Surely they would be better than the current lot. Pool in Umesh, Suyal or Shukla and they would provide some pace. Bhuvi some swing. Would this bowling pool be worst than the current lot ?
Laaloo Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I have lost count of similar suggestions in this forum. Every now and then' date=' someone hopes for a heavy defeat for India so that some issue could be resolved.[/quote'] That happens on like every forum. But it's amazing to see people still clamoring for changes when Dhoni is at the helm. Dhoni will keep giving them chances until they 'prove' us wrong. Then they suck again. Rinse and repeat.

At least pick seamers who bowl 135 to 140 FFS
Zanjeer Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 One good news is that this team is picked for the first 3 Odis. Selectors would be forced to change the bowling attack for the rest of the series.
nitinbwj Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 359/5 ........:hysterical: Veenie and Pissant and Dustwin...:finger:
youngindia Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 unfortunately the other guys are very inexperienced and will find Maxwell and Watson a bit too much but a change in lineup is not a bad thing considering aus looks like scoring 300 every single time and there is no hope in the current lineup's form..
SLICKR392 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 0-8 and Dhoni's still our Kaptaan in Test. Nothing's gonna change.

That is what is worrying. Even other guys will be thrashed because they might have potential but are inexperienced.

Zanjeer Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 Ok. Maybe not 7-0, 6-1 would still do the job...
adi B Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Same team was expected from dhoni..his ego is way too big to make changes..he"ll play the same team till India wins a match and he's proved right what now Mr captain fool?
King Tendulkar Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Biggest trundle attack we have had for a long time Before we had bowlers who can clock 140 sometimes at least. Like aggy, Sree, Zak, RP and others. They did not do it all the time but could at timec crank at least to 140 a few times in a match. Even nehra bowled one or two This current attack is a joke. Relentlessley bowling 79 mph with top speed of 82. Pathetic Selectors need shooting

Pathetic Selectors need shooting Even in the past when we had Sir Aggie, Praveen Kumar, Zak, RP Singh, we never gave up over 300+ in 3 consecutive games. This attack of Vinay Kumar and Pisshant are 6 donors to the opposition. I knew India had mediocre bowling attacks in the past, but it was never THIS pathetic as I have seen these past 3 games. Even Ashwin has lost it.
Cricketics Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Agarkar, Nehra, Zaheer were GOLD for us compared to these guys. No one can deny that.
