vvvslaxman Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 What a day he had. :hatsoff: . Did the commies analyze his action.

vvvslaxman Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 VVS Rohitchandran Ashwin analysied his bowling well and kept his wicket. What i meant was he was reported for suspect action and he is coming back right? so i was wondering if he indeed changed his action.
Sean Bradley Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 What i meant was he was reported for suspect action and he is coming back right? so i was wondering if he indeed changed his action. No Spinner who bowls a dusra showing the back of his hand to the batsman can have a clear action, it is just not possible biologically. The 15 degree rule comes to save most spinners and Shillingford is no different. Also, all these new mystery spinners post Muralidharan era are making a good use of full sleeve shirts to camouflage the chuck in their delivery.
adi B Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 he is a fine bowler, saw him 1st bowl against saf in a test series in windies2010..his height is his greatest strength, the bounce he generates troubles the batsmen, will do well on indian pitches which offers good bounce to the spinners
fineleg Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Did the great Soaib Actor also wear a full sleeve? Is it time for ICC to mandate half-sleeves? Ridiculous that all these players (our own bhajji included) wear full sleeves to leave the doubt factor?
saneindian Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Excellent test match bowler. Flight turn, bounce, doosra has got everything and hardly bowls any short balls. If only he had support from the other end
gaurav92 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Will do wonders on the Wankhede pitch with bounce
Trundler27 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 This guy has 52 wickets in just his 11th test.... That is a scary start... Windies have some mesmerizing spinners in their ranks these days (Narine and now this guy)..... England, Pak, and Windies have solid solid spinners. We need to catch up and bring in guyz like Parvez for the longer format
coffee_rules Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 A very good bowler, too bad he is 30 already. A lot more fit than other WI bowlers who were huffing and puffing by the end of the day
rkt.india Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 What i meant was he was reported for suspect action and he is coming back right? so i was wondering if he indeed changed his action. No. There is nothing changed. Rehabilitation is a farce. He still chucks bowling doosra.
Sajid_Rana Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Shane Shillingford The time spent with Saqlain has done wonders for Shillingford. http://www.espncricinfo.com/westindies/content/story/666687.html
FischerTal Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The time spent with Saqlain has done wonders for Shillingford. Yes he has certainly learned how to chuck well
Trichromatic Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Banned from international cricket for illegal action.
