You guys are delusional and childish to thinkt hat India have found their best bowlers. I hope I am wrong, but after watchign cricket for last 15-20 years, I haven't seen any consistent bowling line up of ours, so you shouldn't be running bandwagon about certain bowlers just yet. We have had a greatness of being medicore bowlers after having started well. I hope Shami and co don't go that way, but let's just leave it to praising them instead of totally name calling our bowlers who had impressed for a bit and have been miserable of late. No one asking for Ishant Sharma to be in team, but you can't rule out a bowler who is under 25.

Let him play for Delhi & for a county for a season then if he gets his pace,natural inswinger,steep bounce & that zip of the pitch back,also picks bag full of wickets he can come back.He's still only 25.....atm we've got better options in Shukla,Suyal, Aaron,Pandey,Mohit & Dhawal.Shami,BK & Umesh will get a long rope so I don't see any chance of him coming back anytime soon.I'll be disaster if selectors take him to SA..... BK,Shami,Umesh & Pandey should go.Zak will be back hopefully if not then Mohit should go.It looks very very inexperienced but then we've got nothing to lose as we'll get owned anyway:giggle:

The guy is an idiot. Plain and simple. No sane thinking person bowls short ball after short ball in a death over despite getting hit for six after six. Someone mentioned Champions Trophy, he actually gave that match away too singlehandedly but luckily he got 2 wickets in 2 balls. This guy is capable of giving the match away on his own. Do we need a bowler like him playing in the World Cup ? He may bowl some good spells every once in a while but he doesnt have the intelligence to work a batsman out which is needed in tests. He has played 50 tests and still bowls like a rookie.

Very few bowlers are there in International cricket who are as stupid as Ishant is... In fact there could be none....so even if he's only 25, I don't think he'll get any wiser given that he's brainless and it's too late now to grow grey cells....

Ishant's problem was his comfort level at being very mediocre and undying support by Dhoni, Fletcher, he thought it was ok to be a first change bowler and not be effective either in terms of wickets or average, Akash had written an article not mentioning him but it was about him how Ishant had resigned to play it safe and become a medium pacer, he only had one thing going for him, pace and bounce and that idi0t let go, selectors should have a clear word with him and give him goals and what he needs to do, he needs to bowl over 140 consistently, get into rhythm and play county , domestic and show his fitness and form. Shami's performance hopefully is a wake up call for him and will raise the bar for these jokers, hopefully we don't ever see VK, Ishant 1.0 , Mithun, Unadkat in this team again.

Not a bad time for Ishant to go back to Delhi Ranji squad. Two seniors' date=' one hurting badly and wanting to regain hi India spot, other perhaps a little nonchalant but still hopeful. Nehra also around to guide him. He will not feel totally lost in the system away from national squad. He should aim to play a couple of full seasons of FC cricket, sort out the technical issues with his bowling , take plenty of wickets which he has always done in domestic FC cricket and then comeback at around 27, maybe before the 2015 WC. 25 can never be the age for a fast bowler's career to end.

Ishant sharma is the only one who can save himself.With the natural talent he has got he just needs to focus on what he did tight in 2007 to 2009 And he will comeback .

Never said India have found their best bowlers. I said in another thread I need to see more from Shami before I anoint him as the next greatest thing. But so far from what I have seen from Shami and others, and the clown who has played 51 tests, the signs are there. Ishant is done. He needs to hit the road, Jack. You and saneindian can go on a date and watch Ishant play in ranji trophies but as far as I am concerned, Ishant should be no where near the Indian test team. Freaking even Nehra at this age or even RP Singh trundling is better than the crap Ishant dishes out.

India should look to other options. Ishant after so many Intl games...plus bowling with Steyn in IPL...havent learn a single trick. Heck...he has forgetten whatever he knew (seen only on his debut tour of Aus). So...now in Intl cricket he is a vertran...who will never learn. Let him play in demestic & IPL. No need to get into Indian team
