Iconoclast Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 England has lost it as much as Australia has won it. They've been pitiful !
ThePhenomenal1 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 haha suck it beefy botham, england have been exposed. just brilliant watching johnson rip england apart. lyon > swann in this series. How is swann unable to do at least as much as lyon? Clouderson has been ineffective. Broad has been sent packing. Ohhh too good.

bulbul Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 England should have easily won if Bell was there , but badluck he got out...so its impossible now.
Trichromatic Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 England should have easily won if Bell was there ' date=' but badluck he got out...so its impossible now.[/quote'] Highest score by England in 4th inning to win a match 332 (in 1928). England has scored 420+ in 4th inning only once in their history (in 1939).

Ram Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Well played Australia. In hindsight, you have to credit Cricket Australia’s decision to fire their previous coach and appoint Lehmann as the successor less than 2 weeks before the previous series. Even though that move destroyed any realistic chances of the Aussie competing in the previous Ashes in England, it was made clearly with an eye on the series that followed in Australia, this summer. Just goes on to show that sometimes, just a change of personnel can make wonders to the team’s morale/mindset. It wasn’t like Mickey Arthur was a bad coach – he probably just didn’t get along with the Aussie players.

Even Lehman is an ok coach. The role coach in cricket is overrated. Didn't we do really well in australia with out a coach.
