This match was India's...they should be VERY disappointed. Chance to win the series GONE.
You do realize South Africa has made so many escapes in various countries against wide range of attacks. They won't do that at home. On this very ground Michael Ahterton batted for 10 overs and England played out 165 overs to get to 351/5 against Donald/Pollock. Where do you think Donald's killer instinct go. He bombarded him with bouncers, cajoled him with words.. nothing worked. Some days batsmen just get the better of you. You just have to give credit and move on. If only India had drawn the test exactly you would still say "India does not have killer instinct to knock off remaining 7 runs"

I dont think it was.Draw was always on the cards.South Africa is No1 team and AB is NO1 Player for Some reason. And this was FLAT wicket.Indians would be lot happier at end

Yes Indian's..fluffed it big time. Considering how **** the bowling is...it's not really a surprise.
You guys lost 0-3 to the same team even with your phaasshht bowlers, Chucker Junaid and Irfan averaging in 60s :hehe:

So why open thread on Indian bowling and not SA which allowed this Indian batting line up which has 4 guys who have played less than 4 test each, allowed us to score close to 700 runs ? Do take time and respond.

Yes good fight from South Africa ,They are truly #1 in the world and India is deservedly NUMBER TWO ( literally and metaphorically )
South Africa should be ashamed of themselves for what they did in the end.

Despite our lackluster bowling....Saffers were afraid...afraid of India's record, afraid of choking

I'm not hurt, we would've won this test had we played with the correct bowling attack. And we were on top for 4 days. You lot got spanked 0-3 against the same side, what does that say about your phaasshhtt bowlers?

Gone? There's only one more match this series. Winner takes all. How is the chance gone?

We didn't cheat or play negative cricket We were on a brink of a shameful defeat. 450 ODD isn't chased every day and it would have been kind of shame to lose such a test. But I am glad we didn't aply the negative stragegy of bowling on leg side to not let South Africa score. I have seen such close games where teams have tryed to bowl everything wide on leg so that batsman can't hit. Many teams would have done that. I remember Australai doing during the epic test series in 2002 against New Zealand when all 3 tests were drawn. ; Hats off to Dhoni for not asking our bowlers to apply that strategy to save the game. :two_thumbs_up:
