Too much anti Dhoni sentiments going on this forum currently which is pathetic. He is our most successful captain and have given us all the trophies possible in ODI's and made us ranked 1 side in tests. Its really tough to understand the hate against him :headshake: I remember similar feeling was going on about Dhoni during 2011 WC when he was not going good with the bat. He shut his critics in the final and gave a tight slap on the face by lifting the MoM and World cup trophy. I can expect a similar response by our greatest Kuptaan sahab to all the haters tomorrow:finger:

So why don't you reply to the actual points his critics make instead of making generic comments about hating, slaps etc? People specifically attack his lack of trust in fast bowling and his obvious favoritism he shows. Winning one match is not going to change that. nor is his personal batting exploits going to change that

Can you explain why Bhuvaneswar, who bowled so well in the CT and Pak series was dropped after ONE SINGLE bad match and Ishant keeps on getting picked match after match after match? Until the day Dhoni starts to train his side to win purely with bowling rather than Kohli playing a masterclass or himself playing pressure knock he will oscillate between breathtaking wins and mediocre losses. So far our batting is godly that we are able to hide massive cracks in the strategy and team selection.

Every captain has his own way/style of leading the team. Dhoni prefers spinners more because he thinks its his formula of success, everyone to his won. And to Dhoni's credit his tactics are successful as his records speak for himself. Regarding selecting Ishant, its not only Dhoni's choice. I am sure our coach have something to say there as well.

Nobody is above criticism. As fans who follow the game, they have the right to criticize certain decisions and performances by the players. Although some people resort to unnecessary insults and abuses here which is not required.
