I think we should play Bhuvi, Chahar and Harshal in Australia.

We can all enjoy the opposition batting then. Just think of the exciting strokes we will get to see after the first 3 overs of swing.

It's a possibility

Shane Watson on Bumrah's replacement ....

The player I would put in if Jasprit is not available is Mohammad Siraj, because of the firepower he presents. Without Bumrah, that's the one thing India won't necessarily have, which is vital on Australian wickets on the bigger grounds with the pace and bounce," Watson said on the ICC Review Show.

"Siraj is great with the brand-new ball. He is fast, he swings the ball away but also his defensive skills are pretty good. And he has got better over the last couple of years

Not watching the match. How was the dip on slower ball bro? He is turning out to be legendary. Great consistency in getting thrashed. Might as well start his own pace academy right next to Lord Dinda.

Even that's an insult to Dinda, Dinda will all his shortcomings actually won us a T20 against Pakistan while defending where Hafeez was tearing us apart. Consistently bowled yorkers and low full tosses and picked up  crucial wickets without going for too many.

Harshal can't even dream of such spell under pressure.

People bringing in bigger ground excuse for these trundlers, professors here endorse the thought of including Thakur into this already trundler packed squad because of bigger grounds

I mean how medival is there cricket ideology, they still think batsmen haven't evolved with their powergame

Would love have someone like Watto as our consultant during ICC events.   Our dumbf**s have no clue about conditions just random specialists & trundlers &,  geriatric spinners

yup thats what even a basic level of competence sounds like, like Watson, he is speaking from what he saw in the past IPL seasons.

out bowling selectors are incompetent for sure.

Harshal Patel is the only bowler that has played all the six games against Aus and SA. Thats how he has performed.

Matches:- 6

Overs bowled:- 20

Runs given:- 219

Wickets:- 3

Economy Rate:- 11 (10.95 to be exact)

Don't know how this guy always has a secured spot in the team. After injury walked straight back in the team.

Just comes running in and roll his fingers over the ball. May be he is doing the same with Chetan's balls as well and much more to get into the Indian team.

I felt like puking when media reports were coming out that Star pacers Bumrah and Harshal are rehabilitating and set to join the team shortly

Almost ATG fiery fast bowler Bumrah being put on the same level as this nothing bowler who floats it up. What a joke !

Those idiots doesn't even understand that this nakli wannabe pacer isn't good enough to even tie bumrah's shoe laces and these losers are putting them on the same level.

Harshsl Patel has a career ER of 9.2 in T20Is. Just 26 wickets from 23 matches.

He is neither economical nor wicket taking.

And he will be 32 in a month's time. So, it is not like we are investing in future potential.

He has a rare talent of conceding all his over at 20+

He's the biggest mental midget in that lineup alongwith kela, have been saying this for long

He can loose you matches from damn certain winning position,he cannot even save 30+ runs if he's asked to

They are going to say that because he came back from injury this doesn't count so he must be extended some leeway. 6 matches is enough to get into the groove in t20s. Hope this experiment with him ends after the tournament one way or another.

If current selection committee existed back in 2007,Joginder Sharma would have been a certainity for 10+ years in all sides

Thanks ,they didn't

I won't be too harsh on harshal , bowling in the death ain't easy, but he is mentally shot..he is not a champion who can rise from the ashes, specially on a big stage under pressure.Same goes for bhuvi, though a much better bowler.

Problem with him is too much reliance on slower balls. Batsmen are ready for them. He can bowl decently quick. He isn't a usual trundler because when he tries he does bowl sharp pace with bounce. He needs to bowl that more often.

It's all he's supposedly good at.
