Vilander
India should take different type of bowlers to nz next time. Ishant Bhuvi Unadkat Chahar type etc. Guys who can take pace off and get lateral movement. Adi_91 1 Link to comment

Whatever bowlers they take, what they need is a different captain and a different coach! Link to comment

Umesh is just done he gets 2 or 3 jaffa when he bowls with sg but with kookaburra that does not happen even, so its just innocuous deliveries followed by customary drift down wrong line and width. Whats worse he has lost pace now and is fast medium 135 to 144 that wont cut it. Time to get Saini to replace him. Edited March 1, 2020 by Vilander Link to comment

MechEng
Indian bowlers bowling at 144 kph but getting thappad off NZ bats at 288 kph. Link to comment
express bowling
Nasty indipping bouncer by Bumrah ... and Williamson is bounced out. Extra pace and bounce .... and Williamson is made to fend like a tailenders, lobbing an easy catch to slip This has been the only good outcome in this innings so far Mosher 1 Link to comment
express bowling
Shami is injured and can't bowl. So we are left with only 2 pacers on a seaming track. Umesh has bowled crap like he usually does overseas. Kept bowling waist high short balls on a pitch offering lateral movement. Stupid and demotivated as usual. Bumrah has bowled his heart out. --- 2 wickets so far ---- 1 dropped catch by Pant ---- Edges have fallen short or gone wide ---- Kohli has kept just 2 slips despite defending just 131 ... so edges have flown wide of slips ---- Multiple LBW appeals. Luck did not go his way in his first 2 spells. ---- Kept bowling 138 k to 143 k with accuracy despite having to bowl so much. express bowling
Superb and big indipper by Bumrah at pace. The set Blundell is bowled. Ball hits the top of off stump. His 2nd wicket. But wickets are coming a bit too late. Edited March 2, 2020 by express bowling Mosher and rock777 1 1 Link to comment

By including these dibbly-dobbly swing bowlers in the team ... we will open the door to them lingering in the team in other series too. And this dibbly-dobblies will fcuk us in most other series. We need swing bowlers like Ishant for NZ. Pacers who can hit the deck hard if the ball stops swinging. Edited March 2, 2020 by express bowling Mosher and Adi_91 2 Link to comment

Liked Prasidh Krishna as a potential all-condition pacer. Very tall guy with pace, extra bounce, outswing, seam movement both ways, decent accuracy and a well developed stock ball. Kuldeep Sen is someone who has combined pace with movement and accuracy too. It was unfortunate that Shivam Mavi got injured. He started well and was bowling with pace, hostility, bounce and movement and picked wickets early in the season. It’s time to look for variety in our bowling attack. This is heartening to know. Link to comment
express bowling
Bumrah was brilliant in the 2nd innings despite having no pacer to exert pressure from the other end ( Shami could not bowl due to.injury and Umesh was Umesh ) ---- Bowled attacking lines and lengths targeting the top of off stump. ---- Moved the ball both ways. Saw some big inswingers and regularly bowled the away going ball too. ---- Bowled 140 k+ consistently despite having to bowl so many overs on the trot and make up for the injured Shami. ---- Bowled some nasty bouncers. The one that bounced out Williamson was special. ---- Got good bounce with length balls too. ---- Dropped catches, edges falling short or going through the vacant 3rd slip area etc.did not help our cause. ---- Lots of LBW appeals and plays and misses. ---- Finished with 2 for 39 in a short innings.
