One of the few bright points from this disaster of a series. The ball that gets Matt Prior is a beauty. BCCI, never knew much on managing talent. Still can't believe we let the inglees to get away with the game from 124/8.

Bumrah starts the IPL season bowling 140 k to 145 k in the first match.  Quite good after a 6 month break.  Planning needs to improve though. He has looked a tad more defensive right from the beginning being of 2020, after returning from injury.

I was looking forward to each of his deliveries and was left disappointed that he was bowling short. The no ball free hit going for a six was not his usual bowling for sure.

 

The only good thing was his speed. Everything else was disappointing.

But he calls Aussie pacers, bowling 132 k, as genuine quicks.

 

Same applies to WI and Pakistani seamers.

Saini, Bumrah and Shami have started bowling near full pace, despite the 6 month break.

 

That is s big plus.

out of the Above Indian Fast bowlers  , i feel a few of them are on a UPSWING in their career  and a few are in the down swing( Performance is going down).

Saini, Bumrah, Tyagi, Prasidh, Mavi , SHammi, Nagarkoti, Siraj and Deshpande are in an Up Swing.

 

Aaron, Umesh and Khaleel seem to be in a down swing.

 

Aaron's pace is slightly down ( compared to his erst while speek 142 to 150K ) , his line and length are still a question Mark, Only he says that he has a good slower ball. All others agree that he does have a Slower ball but dont agree that it is a good slower ball.

Umesh Yadav is trying to control his line n length and is ready to sacrifice his speed for it. He has been the Speed KING and was known only as a genuine fast bowler but he is known as an erst while fast bowler and now a Medium Pacer with little Swing.

Khaleel is not clear what he wants to do ? Some times he thinks just by bowling with left hand is good enough to play for INDIA, he bowls from 120 k to 142K and all batsman now treat him as a trundler. All fast bowler gained a batsman's respect bcos the batsman thought of them as a fast bowler but if a fast bowler becomes a trundler , no batsman respects him. so now khaleel is treated as a rank trundler and even bowlers like Sandeep Sharma ( under 125K pacer who bowls magic in his first 2 overs only) and Yorker Specialist Natarajan are counted ahead of him. nagarkoti, mavi, karthik tyagi, DEshpande ,Siraj,deepak chahar are way ahead of Khaleel in fast bowler queue.

 

why I have written about all the three is because I loved them and have a bit of positivity left about them. Hope they focus hard.
