Harshit was clocking mid 140s easily today. He bowled just 5 overs as England was dismissed in 34 overs His quickest from his 31 balls were .. From Hawkeye 146.4 145.9 145.4 145 3 144.2 143.0 142.8 142.7 142.5 142.4 And he was getting zip off the deck on a slowish pitch Getting some balls to climb awkwardly too. He was getting consistent and significant seam movement with the slightly older ball. Bowled in good areas too. Saw a couple of decent yorkers. But one area he needs to work on is his control with the brand new ball. 15 minutes ago, singhvivek141 said: I really feel for Mayank now...should have been here as well if fit. Hope Harshit's performance motivates him. Can't wait for Mayank to come back and bowl really fast and really well. This is the a good cluster, this is where he has to be more balls near 145 kmph. express bowling 1
MK55 Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 Looking at the comments, looks like Harshit bowled his quickest today - so far in his international career. One good thing about him is that he comes back stronger if he’s attacked. Need Mayank fit asap. Mayank Harshit Bumrah will be a fantastic attack with Umran to keep these guys on their toes. Suhaan and Mosher 2

Probably he is now feeling confident. Bowlers usually bowl quicker when they feel settled. Harshit spent most of last year as a passenger to the Indian Team. Now he is getting a hold of the game so is trying to become best version of himself. Mayank too is young and should be able to allow himself to be his best as well. Just have to find a way to be fit. cowboysfan Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 only India seem to have figured out how to bowl spinners on flat tracks, could be the key to the Champions trophy.

They work well and apply the clamps but they losses it when batters go ultra-aggresive on them. Head is doing that to Ind, in that Sf against NZ Ind bowlers were clueless when Mitchell went after them. Even in T20i finals axar lost it when Klasen went ultra-aggressive. I Vk1 1

Till now rana has shown that he got brains, able to make comebacks in the game, ability to pick wkts (v.imp -- Ind pacers donot even know how to pick wkt ) Also seems like he know what pace he needs to bowl at to be effective, all new Ind pacer seems to be missing that understanding. we saw this kirshna, even akash deep in aus tour and with mayank in that series vs bd. express bowling, Mosher, bouncers and 1 other 4

Vk1 Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 We need a backup pacer/enforcer for middle overs as spin won't work outside Asia. Ideally we would need a 6'3 or taller pacer who can hit the deck hard ( Prasidh doesn't give that confidence and doesn't have the attitude) express bowling 1
