This is the a good cluster, this is where he has to be more balls near 145 kmph.

Looking at the comments, looks like Harshit bowled his quickest today - so far in his international career. One good thing about him is that he comes back stronger if he’s attacked.

 

Need Mayank fit asap. Mayank Harshit Bumrah will be a fantastic attack with Umran to keep these guys on their toes.

Yes but the average pace was probably higher today as it looks like there were multiple 145 plus deliveries.

Probably he is now feeling confident.

Bowlers usually bowl quicker when they feel settled.

Harshit spent most of last year as a passenger to the Indian Team. Now he is getting a hold of the game so is trying to become best version of himself.

 

Mayank too is young and should be able to allow himself to be his best as well. Just have to find a way to be fit.

They work well and apply the clamps but they losses it when batters go ultra-aggresive on them.

Head is doing that to Ind, in that Sf against NZ Ind bowlers were clueless when Mitchell went after them. Even in T20i finals axar lost it when Klasen went ultra-aggressive.

Till now rana has shown that he got brains, able to make comebacks in the game, ability to pick wkts (v.imp -- Ind pacers donot even know how to pick wkt )

Also seems like he know what pace he needs to bowl at to be effective, all new Ind pacer seems to be missing that understanding. we saw this kirshna, even akash deep in aus tour and with mayank in that series vs bd.

We need a backup pacer/enforcer for middle overs as spin won't work outside Asia. Ideally we would need a 6'3 or taller pacer who can hit the deck hard ( Prasidh doesn't give that confidence and doesn't have the attitude)

If not him or Prasidh then we need to inject Simarjeet, Brar or Kuldeep Sen
