Sen, Tyagi, Umran, M Yadav are either not playing or not able to lit up scenes.

None of them is a 150 kph bowler just like how Bhuvi is not a 140+ kph bowler despite throwing a dozen balls at that pace

Mayank Y has done really well whenever he has played. 

 

And he is getting fit now.

 

Sen, who is more of a 145 k+ pacer, has been injured most of the times in the last 14 months. Which is why he has been out of rhythm on the odd occasions he has played.

 

Tyagi needs to pull up his socks.

Bowling 150k consistently is tough, but a bowler should have the ability to crank up his pace when he wants to.

Tyagi need to change state, he should go and play from Uttarakhand or Baroda or Chandigarh. UP me it's very tough to break in due to politics.

 

Kuldeep Sen made blunder by switching to TN, he could have easily went to Chattisgarh instead...culturally same state where he can play as the leader of pace attack.

What a joke. Maybe the Ambani's and Shah's don't want their IPL star to lose the season. They want the bucks!

If the selectors were so serious about Indian bowlers, Umran, Tyagi, Yadav, and the gang wouldn't be cooling their heels off at their home.

Selectors should know that Mukesh,Avesh cant be the next Bumrah,they should invest in.Umran,Tyagi,Kuldeep .

 

Selectors should try to find a replacement for Shami 

 

In this series most of the bowling would have been done by spinners,Selectors, team management could have taken risk and selected any young pacer

Low bounce skiddy can be used in India

How badly I wanted Umran to seal the deal but part of the blame lies with him too

 

IPL unpopular opinion,still I feel is where most guys get noticed an entire good season can prop up the likes of Tyagi,Harshit,Umran,Mayank etc

Kevarappa is already doing fine in FC,he too should be in contention,need a large pool for varied conditions

U19 Limbani guy also looks impressive,tall bouncy ,saw great carry from his early spell deliveries against SA in first SF

plus he can bat and has enough power to hit not only spinners but pacers as well

Arey shriman wo bh kar lene den ,atleast they should lessen his burden by maybe trying someone like Akashdeep and easing in some newcomers atleast in A games home and away

Thing is these guys hype pace to raise the level of any competition if it is domestic one they do it more

Should be done infact for marketing purpose,India is altogether opposite to this

Be interested in your thoughts here, if Akashdeep is selected, while sure his role is to primarily take wickets in the team, even if he can just hold down one end and not leak runs like Mukesh and Siraj has done, he would already be a positive in the team. When bowling well as a team unit its also about bowling in pairs. Bumrah will do his job, so if Akashdeep can maintain that pressure from the other end, he will help others to take wickets. If not with the pacers than with the spinners.

 

In the last test, Mukesh provided a lovely safety release valve for the Poms, it allowed them to bat carefully and conservatively with Bumrah while still going about attacking in a Bazball approach when Mukesh came in to bowl.

He looks like another Thukesh Kumar type of bowler, I don't have much hope in him. Where are the next Bumrahs and Shamis? 
 

I cannot believe talents like Tyagi have not been groomed at all, such poor management, it is mind boggling.

They want readymade bowler.They dont want to risk on player ie Tyagi who has all the attributes. 

 

They think.the players should come in mould types,they dont want to take risk.on players ie Sarfaraz, who they think is not fit,has attitude problem
