See this is patta so everything will look ordinary.

He has decent pace and control but with focus on slower balls and containing he is gonna lose his edge .

I don't care about speed guns specially if there are other skills but this guy will end up like Aaron if he keeps going on this track .

Mayank is much more accurate compared to Aaron.

In the last match he moved the ball regularly too.

Yes this is patta track.

But people had hopes of tests soon which imo is long way off right now

He is touching 150, hopefully he kicks back and start running quick.

145K-149K with accuracy is awesome. But he howled like 10 or more slow balls today. This was the disappointment.

There was absolutely no need for those useless slow balls in this match against this opposition.

Not worrying about him bowling 150 plus as it's clear he isn't even trying when going 145K.

After seeing him bowl 150-155kph even in domestic cricket, this return has been disappointing for me. I remember in his second IPL match, his first ball was 153k.

Most teams clearly signal their express bowler to go full tilt and generate pace.

I don’t understand who in their right mind has asked him to bowl so many f slow deliveries.

From what I’ve seen in the comments, he started bowling multiple slow deliveries in the first over itself. WTF is going on here lol?

Also, when the captain doesn’t bowl your young quick for 8-9 overs, it’s signals the bowler to focus on line n length n variations. This cowardice needs to stop.

Now that he’s settling in, it’s time to go full pace regardless of the pitch and match condition. We are playing a T20 match against Bangladesh FFS.

He is just returning and may be not pushing hard for those speeds but if he wants to be 150+kmph bowler he should get to those speeds as quickly as possible.

Else it get impossible once the bowler losses the pace, that is why its important for any pacer to attain their pre-injury pace as soon as possible else it becomes impossible after some time

I think seeing Fizz and Taskin got successfull with slow balls today and wkt seemed two paced..he may have tried more slower bowls..but I am with you..we want him to bowl at peak speeds all the time..you dont want bowlers like Tanzim htting you for a four down the ground on slower bowl..when he should be fearing full pace bowls..

Yes if some1 wants to bowl at high pace can not always think of getting injured, to some extent getting injured bowling at that high pace is part of life for 150+ kmph bowlers as long as those are not career ending innings.

Look at wood he bowls at top speeds for few series then get injured and then again comes back and bowls same top speeds, same thing bond did in his days.

Now take a look at nortje a v.capable 150 kmph bowler after injury stopped pushing for those speeds , now he hardly crosses 145+ kmph in CPL

Same thing with rabada. Shaheen is also a good case once bowler losses that pace then even if they try full tilt they never come up to same kind of speeds.

No one is made to bowl at 150 kmph they are bond to get injured but if they stop themselves or are asked not to bowl at those speeds they will never be able to do that.

it similar to if batters keeps thinking of getting out when trying for big shots more often they will be caught or wont play those shots.

Arshdeep got the most seam and swing today amongst all our bowlers.

Abhishek Sharma spun the ball 50% more than next best Washington Sundar, who got the most drift.

Varun C gets very little turn or drift.

But that's probably because he is more of a pure overspin bowler and there's no data for dip/bounce.

I think Mayank needs competition. Wish Umran was fit. If Umran bowled 150 plus, I can guarantee you Mayank would have pushed himself too.
Harshit should be brought in asap too.

Washington Sundar getting drift is good from being a bowler who used to simply dart

Hopefully, this version of Sundar can be the long term replacement for Ashwin that we all hoped for.
