All of them Tyagi,Sen,Mayank,Prasidh mostly are injured that is where you get Avesh,Mukesh playing for India so often

Barring Harshit ignore,I don't think selectors have 25-50 140+ options,so they have to go with Avkesh

His first over was super impressive. No speed guns. It must have been high 140s. But dropped pace from second over onwards.

So I reckon the attack will be Bumrah Prasidh and Deep.

Not sold on Deep. I reckon he’s gonna start trundling in Australia. I rather have Harshit but these morons never played him.

After watching him in the current series, Umran has got at least 5k more pace on average. He just needs to get match practice and told that no matter what, you’re getting a decent run. AND a captain who understands the value of pace bowlers.

Yes. Our bowlers usually always struggle against left handers.

In SA, Prasidh was even quicker than Nandre Burger. Bowled a fastest of 148 k+ in the first test and averaged 139 k+ in the 2nd test ( Burger averaged 138 k+ and Bumrah 137 k+ ) 

 

He bowled poor lines and lengths and hence got hit.

These are stop gap pacers, brought in because the quicker pacers are injured. Problem was in 2023 when some of them became main pacers.

Our second line of bowling attack is totally barbaad. 

Once Bumrah goes we are doomed back to dark days of trundler era. Virat was the only captain who had heart to take risks with the fast bowlers.

Let's hope that he bowls like his version of 2021 vs WI where he bowled quick and aggressively. 

Hope he doesn't overdo the short ball strategy. 

If he fails here as well, then he will end up being Saini 2.0.
