raki05 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 BCCI is pathetic organisation they dont focus on developing young fast bowlers how come so many fast bowlers lost in system …. Whether its Mayank, Karthik , Umran …. Well you may say injury but why bcci is jot setting up some kind of program or process to devlop fast bowlers. Why dont they put them in systematic process where they should compensate their ipl money till they overcome injury and able to bowl consistently quick like a test class bowlers and then they should be allowed to play any form of cricket. Right now bowlers are on their own, till the time they perform bcci will hype them and once they get injured they will leave them like haarey huey leaders ke chamchey. express bowling and Mosher 2

First thing they have to develop is to give importance to pace ,pace and bounce They need to understand Indian pace rs take time to settle,no one will be Steyn level genius in first few tests So let them swim into the waters early, don't just abandon guys like Tyagi,Umran,Kuldeep,Mayank Get the best possible exposure for them and strength -mental conditioning for them It is still a surprising that we are competing or somehow floating despite loosing so many pacers in these 4-5 years, BCCI shouldn't think in the lines ,'India is a huge country we have so many guys ready' No ,you won't get guys like Kuldeep,Umran,Tyagi,Mayank everyday Harshit should be persisted with ,he's young by the time he is ready he will at best be 25-26+ Fast bowlers in India must be played early express bowling and raki05 1 1
Rightarmfast Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 Kamboj, seems to slow down during the last 3 steps of his bowling run up, when he has to speed up, push and make the extra effort. As if the traffic signal is going to red from orange. How the hell did he learn this technique? How come no bowling coach has noticed that? And why was everyone speaking highly of this guy, that too based on IPL performance. lolz... Bring back Mukesh Kumar rollingstoned 1
express bowling Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 Kamboj dismisses the set Duckett with extra bounce. This is what he must try instead of the innocuous stuff that he tried earlier. Mosher 1
express bowling Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 Kamboj 123 kph This is less than even Reddy and Shardul. Lord, raki05, RAZPOR and 3 others 2 4

This is where Harshit could have been good Rightarmfast and Suhaan 2

express bowling Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 (edited) Looks like Kamboj is basically a 125 k to 135 k pacer. Hovering around 126 k / 127 k after his first spell. Edited July 24, 2025 by express bowling raki05 and Mosher 1 1

Duckett was in an attacking mood so he went after short and wide ball. That was my observation AKane, express bowling and Suhaan 3

tweaker Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 With Bumrah playing only 3 Test, Reddy,Akashdeep, Arshdeep injured, and Prasidh and Shardul as other fast bowlers, why Gambhir added only Kamboj to the squad. He should have added Harshit to the squad.
singhvivek141 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 Office timings are such that cant watch Eng test matches... But all in all this test series has been extremely disappointing from fast bowling POV. Prasidh hasnt shown any consistency, Akashdeep has shown promise but thats it, Siraj is..well..not sure what he is, Bumrah has no support and its visible now. Kamboj, Thakur...not sure what else is left. At this rate I am more in favour of guys like Vidwath Kaverappa, Eden Apple Tom, Yudhvir Singh, Gurnoor Brar who atleast has shown ability to bowl long spells in domestics.
