How did you get these speed recordings ? I see a bcci icon on the top right?? And how correct is it ?

Match was televised today on Hotstar.
I saw this but couldn't take the snapshot (I messaged in the thread that Ashok bowled his first over 146-150), later someone uploaded it on the "X"

PrithviRaj does have a bit of pace...bowled 3 overs in death and was oscillating in 136-142 range.
Though he has to really work on his yorkers...often ended up bowling over pitch deliveries which batters tonked without sweating.

He bowled well in death...quickest was 144....majority of deliveries in 137-139 range. Was bowling/attempting yorkers which is a good sign, though he doesn't get as much bounce as prithviraj.
Had 13 runs to defend against Patidar and another set batter...gave 12 and won the match for JHK against MP.

Yara is bit tall than him plus, yarra mostly bowls only 1 length. but decent pace for both of them at-least for t20s.

Amongst LA fast  (in Ind domestic crkt):: think Naman and Mukesh choudhary are quickest both can reach upto 145 kmph on effort ball and are consistently bowling in early 140 kmph. then Arshad he is similar pace ,then Sushant and Yarra

You're right, Yarra is tall, action is similar to Khaleel hence get good bounce. Though Yarra can bowl yorkers but his natural length is back of length.

Sushant is what you call a skiddy pacer, not very tall. I think Mukesh Chaudhary is also similar height to Sushant, not sure how tall is Arshad but visually he too looks as tall as Sushant & Mukesh C.

Haven't seen Naman much so cant comment. I have often seen a big dip in their pace once they graduate from U19. Mavi, Akash, Nagarkoti, Avesh, Khaleel all became trundlers post the U19 WC...Tyagi gained pace but he changed his action so much that he seems to have lost it again.

Fastest balls today as per Hawkeye

144.3

143.0

142.4

141.8

141.7

His top pace isnt the problem...bowling 138-141 with peak around 144-145 is acceptable.

Whats not acceptable is his fitness, T20s its fine. But in ODIs and Tests, he starts bowling 135k and lots of slower balls, even when it's not required.

Mukesh Choudhary is taller than Sushant. Arshad is around 6'1.

is there a way we can find..how many runs he has conceded on slower balls since he started..I always feel..instead of working on his favor..his slower ones are becoming weakness..he gives too many runs on them..as they are predictable to the batters..and dont trouble them..may be he should try in some different way..perhaps..like Dilhara Fernando style split finger slower ones..

Uncapped Indian 140 k+ pacers who may have high ceilings and are playing FC Cricket regularly ....

Gurnoor Brar .. Fast .... Very Tall

Ashok Sharma .. Express ....  Tallish

Eden Apple Tom .. Fast .... Medium Height

Sushant Mishra also clocked 140+. My categorisation of these three is Gurnoor and Eden Fast medium. Ashok Fast. Express pace has to be 150+ like Mayank and Umran did.

Medium height skiddy bowlers for home tests to bring back the Umesh/Shami golden era of lbws n cart wheeling stumps with reverse swing.

Sushant maybe 140k+ but I don't know whether he has the necessary skills yet.

Need to see him bowl.

If a pacer is very bouncy and tall as Gurnoor then he will be perceived as Fast at 2 kph or 3 kph less pace. Same with very skiddy pacers like Shami.

For me

Fast is 135 k to 145 k / 147 k with lots of balls at 140 k+.

Express is 140 k to 150 k / 152 k with lots of balls at 145 k+.

Fast-medium is 130 k to 140 k / 142 k with lots of balls at 135 k+.

145 k to 155 k / 157 k, with lots of balls at 150 k+ is Super Express.

Things ij progress about Sushant

1. He doesnt get much bounce, even after hitting good length the deliveries barely reach above the knee of the batsman.

2. Hasnt shown much movement, maybe one of match but looks like a straight arrow.

Good things.

1. He is skiddy

2. Has the ability to bowl yorkers, much better than Prithviraj or Arshad.

3. Doesn't lose his marbles when asked to bowl in death
