Why were you not talking about Kohli, Rohit, Rahane, Saha, Dhawan, Jadeja, Ashwin, Aaron, Umesh and Ravi Shastri but Pujara ?? You must be a hater or Rohit fan :banghead:

He can get away with these issues in India, but not in overseas. You just can't leave that much gap between bat and pad, especially when the ball swinging. India need to invest in others like KLPD, and other top Ranji players when playing outside India.

Pujara is way over-hyped on this forum. Both Rahane and Kohl have better technique than him

They all have weakness. Kohli outside off - many times a bunny.

Rahane is bit better, but he has struggled on spin pitches too.

But overall we may have to stick with Vijay,Pujara, Kohli, Rahane (replace dhawan and Nohit)

At the moment Pujara is our fourth best test batsman overall and among our top 2 batsmen in the sub-continent. That would about sum it up. On the whole, Kohli and Rahane are better than Pujara till now but Che shows more hunger for runs in sub-continent tests. None of them have played even 45 tests so far and are not complete batsmen yet.

All our good batters have weaknesses. But we have seen that even the much celebrated SA batting lineup has major weaknesses against spin too.

The main point I would look for is whether Pujara works on and improves  his technical flaw against the incoming delivery and leaving a gap between bat and pad while playing them.
