Dravid deserved credit to stand up . Even good teams could have been blown away because of scoreboard pressure despite the pitch was flat. But Laxman and Dravid really played brilliantly. Dravid did in both innings. But Brad williams injury really handicapped Australia.. Steve waugh was helpless. Even with 3 bowlers they put enoromous pressure on us. Dravid ensured we won.

singhprakash72 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Adelaide 2003 was arguably greatest win when you take in to context what India was overseas in decade of 90s....yes the win against WI & Eng (2002) was good but against mediocre sides. The fact that Aussie battered our bowling attack to 550 in first innings and had us down 4 wkts for less than 100, makes it next only to Calcutta 2001 test in all time great wins.
