Seeing where Virat has taken the test team, n if Dhoni has any respect and cares for India n its cricket he should step down n retire coz he has hurt his team bad enough for last 4 years test n odi, causing more n more damage, let in Virat as ODI Capt n lets start rebuilding under a winner then the looser Mr PROCESS.

If Dhoni can find some extent (not all) of his old form, can play as a pure batsman-keeper sans captaincy.

Dhoni has lost his game n ability n not form, he had a unorthodox game based on good eye n not much technique, he has lost his game n not his form n that won't come back.

Sorry, I should have said ability.. yes, there are some issues with hand-eye coordination. But, good players reinvent themselves - could turn into a reasonably effective middle order bat (not the great finisher of old).

That one good knock in NZ odis was because Virat was at the other end. Even Jayant admitted yesterday that when Virat is at the other end, batting somehow becomes easier. Every batsman would love to have Virat at the other end to have a smooth ride.

He's 36. Closer to retirement than reinvention.

That's a bit rich for a troll to say

I don't mean you but Viper, n I don't know u so?

I am just posting the obvious, Dhoni is a scavenger, who under Srini had set the rot, Indian team had become a butt of joke with power mouse statement coming from Gavaskar himself, Virat is someone who prides on his team's performance while Dhoni just killed the cow n destroyed our test team n now in latter stages the ODi team.
