He got out just when he had just started accelerating. He'd hit 9 in the previous over. Just unfortunate that the got out at that stage so his strike rate may look suspect. The strategy is clear from India to not lose early wickets in the first 10-15 overs. And it's not a bad strategy either considering there is a little bit of juice in these early games and also as India was unable to secure any sort of platform prior to the WC. Kohli has also mentioned that he is playing the anchor role. A set Kohli can make it up later. As the other players get in form, we may see a different approach but overall I can't fault the strategy. You don't want to lose 3-4 wickets in the first 10 overs.

if india had someone like yuvraj coming up in the back end kohli might have opened up a bit moer. even otherwise his batting is slow when india bats first regardless of opposition. even against bangladesh in the 2011 world cup he started a bit slow before exploding.
